The kid-friendly outdoor space, animals, and the ample amount of shaded seating is a big plus for this place. Sadly, I was not as thrilled with the wine or service. The place was packed, and I felt like I was ordering at a crowded bar. The loud music inside also wasn't appealing. Ordered the tempernillo (which stated in the description it was dry). The wine was far from a dry red. My glass of wine also came with a lovely dead fruit fly that surely had been dead for sometime in that bottle. Ended up hanging out all afternoon with my party at Longshadow drinking water.

Recently experienced Long Shadow for the first time at a pop up car show on a Sunday. I was blown away at how beautiful the atmosphere was. I didn't even know it was there after several years of visiting various wineries. The main building is very large with breathtaking design. They have several outdoor areas to sit along with a live music area and food area. They also had about 5 beer options for those who prefer that. Definitely looking forward to returning! I met some amazing people there on accident and forged great relationships. It is family owned and operated.

The manager at 2 pm on Saturday turned away our party without letting us know prior that our reservation was canceled and refused to accommodate our large party. We went back to the previous winery Lorenzi, they were lovely, go there.

We made reservations for a large party which was not honored. When we arrived we were told to go somewhere else by the MANAGER. We were shocked by this type of treatment and our party of 20 went elsewhere. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. Have never had worse customer service. The manager was rude and we will not be coming back.

Good wines. Wine Steward was great. He remembered us after only 1 previous visit. Very busy this visit. Family friendly, they have a playground and animals.

Pretty good wines. I liked the Port the best! Kick back atmosphere with a country feel. Loved that there were horses here! Friendly and helpful wait staff to tell you about the different wines. Beautiful outdoor scenery and lots of room.

Nice winery in Temecula. Great location for wedding receptions and photos. Small barnyard areas with goats and alpacas.

Beautiful winery! Exceptional wine selection! Love the live music and for pits. So cozy! The bbq food truck rocks! The staff was super friendly and accomodating. One of the best places to visit because of the farm animals. .

Longshadow Ranch has its own unique charms, but with all of the wineries in the area it doesn't quite feel like those are enough to make it stand out. It's very rustic and cute with lots of animals and an outdoorsy feel, but it doesn't seem to be kept up very well between the dirty bathrooms, animal pens, and tables. With a small staff, it feels like a place that has been left in need of some real TLC. Sitting outside is pleasant and the big tables inside are appreciated with the cool indoor environment and atmosphere. Our bartender was also super great, being transparent about what he did and didn't recommend, keeping conversation and sharing generous wine pours for our tasting. Ultimately, though, the wine wasn't really very good. We did tasting flights, and nothing stood out with taste of each wine ranging from fine to poor. However, the price for the generous tasting pours was super reasonable and our group was able to hang out for a while.Given the chance to come back I wouldn't completely say no, but I'd be more interested in trying somewhere new instead.
