Lorimar Vineyards and Winery

This was my first visit to Lorimar Vineyards, but it won’t be my last! The food and the service was OUTSTANDING!

They always have great music they have the best Halloween parties and the flowers are incredible this time of year Come join outside dining It's always busy with lots of fun people!

We tried the 2020 Meritage wine and it has such a nice sophisticated taste, it has plum, dark cherries and clove.
Such a lovely place, and really nice view.
I definitely recommend going to this place.

Called before coming they told me they should have seats for me but they don’t know when I got there they told me they aren’t seating anyone anymore. Drove an hr, I definitely wouldn’t recommend though.they could have offered us take out or food in another area that is open by the wine bar , they just denied us. I don’t appreciate that . Felt like I was back in segregation era. I got seated in the back eventually after writing a review and asking a few questions the side eyes and looks I received were questionable. There were a few nice people it seemed like that were genuine and the food was good.

Good live-music (not too loud), wines were good and really friendly personell.
Best Temacula winery so far...

Don’t come here if you’re not a member. You’ll be waiting forever for service while the members get taken care of. Members will get their food even before you get your water

Tried wine tasting here, had a reservation. We got our first selection no problem but then our server disappeared. I'd say it was about 8-10 minutes before we flagged down another server so we could get our next selection. After taking about another 10 minutes we flagged down our original server, gave our next selection then he disappeared again never to return. He started serving and chatting other guests before we finally flagged him down after waiting 15 minutes or so. When we spoke to him he had forgotten he even took our last selection/order. We kindly asked him to close us out (without finishing all 6 tastings) as we had dinner reservations and didn't want to waste anymore time.

Aside from the service, the wines we did have were great. Just wish we were able to enjoy the rest. Maybe another time.

Kari needs to fine tune her serving skills. She’s not friendly and honestly quite condescending. Forgets to bring out requested sauces and acts annoyed when having to split tabs. Also, the food is mid-everyone at our table had something negative to say about their meal.

Was sorting through my wine and discovered several bottles 15 or more years old that we hadn't deliberately kept. One was a 2005 Lorimar Medley Meritage. We opened this one tonight. Decanted it several hours before we tried it. It was delicious! Very jammy, with a deep garnet color. Extremely smooth, excellent finish. Wish we had a few more bottles 😍

This 2020 Meritage is fantastic!! Reasonably priced and full of complex flavors!! The venue is great, awesome music, fantastic outdoor dining, ambiance galore! Great staff!

Great place to enjoy your spouse and wine.

Pros: Good wine tasting. Nice atmosphere. PJ the wine pourer was great.

Cons: we got lunch in the restaurant. The menu was limited and the food was below mediocre. We got sandwiches and were disappointed in both of them.
