I had the Pastrami sandwich with french fries. The pastrami could have been sliced a little thinner as it was a little tough, but it was tasty. The fries I think are excellent. The service is always friendly and knowledgeable about selections. It can be noisy as it's basically a patio sitting and you're near the road so there's cars driving by people walking by. I think the prices are okay. A little on the high side though, but everything is higher these days. This is my go-to place whenever I'm in Old Town for lunch.

Makayla is the Rockstar of Mad Madeline’s!
I don’t normally write reviews, but after the experience I had with Makayla at Mad Madeline’s Burger Grill, I had to give credit where it’s due. From the moment we walked in, she greeted us with genuine warmth and energy that immediately made us feel welcome. You can tell she loves what she does—and it shows.
Makayla was attentive without being overbearing, totally on top of everything, and had amazing recommendations (the heart healthy buffalo burger she suggested? Game-changer). Even though the place was busy, she never missed a beat—drinks stayed full, food came out hot, and her vibe made the whole meal more enjoyable.
If you’re lucky enough to have Makayla as your server, you're in for a great time. She’s the kind of person who turns a good meal into a memorable experience. Mad Madeline’s is already known for killer burgers, but Makayla? She’s the secret sauce.

My mom, who is a pickier water than me, got a burger and she said it was really good. My dad got the pulled pork and enjoyed it. I got a grilled cheese and honestly I was impressed it was made with slices of bread instead of a bun which makes it feel like an intentional menu choice and not an after thought. The waitress was incredibly nice. My mom left her phone and luckily there was still an employee there almost an hour after closing and we were able to pick it up

I am spoiled I lived in a real city ( Chicago and NY ) these burgers are good, but I have definitely had better. But it doesn't mean I wouldn't be back.

We left the people in front of us left. No service not even a check in. The server was chillin with customers. Bad customer service here!

10 out of 10 don't recommend the service is always ridiculous slow and last couple times food has been sub par but today I get a burger with a soggy bun ask of they can toast it she brought me back a roast bun like how am I supposed to transfer to a new bun this soggy mess like ok tasted like dirt char anyway... Not a good experience last few times boooo

If you are craving for a good size, old fashioned, real hamburger, and the opportunity to do people-watching while you are eating, then Mad Madeline’s Grill is the place to go. The service staff are also friendly. They make you feel like at home.
