We recently discovered this winery in Temecula and had a great experience. The bread brie bowl was incredibly tasty, and the wine paired perfectly with it. We also loved that it was family-friendly—we brought our 18-month-old son along and felt completely comfortable and welcome. Relaxed atmosphere, great food and wine, and a place we’ll definitely return to. 🍷🧀

Best winery in the Temecula Valley. Service is exceptional, family oriented, very welcoming staff, wines and food are superb, prices are very reasonable, wine club membership is a the best deal in comparison to other wineries!!

Horrible service . Servers in a bad mood , very rude overall
We went to three wineries and this one had the grumpiest most unprofessional staff.
Only one staff member- male server was pleasant and explained wine notes
Female servers poured and chastise customers for drinking glasses
Did not respond appropriately when asked about wines
The only good thing about this location was the sourdough bread. Avoid this location when so many other wineries are friendly , educational and knowledgeable

Me and my mother in law visited this Winery last Friday! It was my first time wine tasting and Alyssa was the best host. She took her time and answered all my questions with ease! I will definitely spread the word and be back! Thanks Alyssaaaaaa!!!!! ❤️

I was verbally assaulted by another table for having three sips of wine. No staff came up to stop the assault or to apologize after the fact. I am pregnant and the wine tasting was included in a bachelorette party I was attending. I took one sip of each wine we tasted and gave the rest to the bride or another member of the party to enjoy. Complete strangers were loudly discussing me and my body, then when I tried to tell them I was only having a small sip of each they told me I was killing my unborn child; they truly got in my face - screaming at me for “not keeping to myself” when they were loudly talking about me; and they loudly called me a white trash b!@/$ as I was walking away from them. Staff at the winery did absolutely nothing to mitigate this assault, did not apologize for the other customers, did not ask them to leave. I will tell everyone I know to not visit this winery and I never plan to go again.

If I could put this place at zero stars I would. I stopped here as part of a bachelorette party wine tour. I am a pregnant woman. After personally getting water for our entire table, I asked the bar if they had any n/a drinks, and all they had was soda—fine, but I didn’t want soda. Our party had paid for the amount of people in the party for transportation purchases, and the woman we were dealing with refused to give me a tasting glass and card, even though we had paid for it. I ended up convincing her to provide what we had paid for. I also wanted to taste the wines, so I took a small sip of each of the 5 glasses provided, likely less than ¼ of a wine glass total, which is completely safe in pregnancy. Then I would give the rest of my tasting glasses to women in the bridal party.

I was verbally accosted by two tables while I was there. I was harshly judged. I overheard them talking about me and my body multiple times. Then, when I turned to say hello and explain that I was having tiny sips of each, I was told I was killing myself and my unborn baby. I had multiple complete strangers yelling in my face. I even had one man so bold as to RUDELY ask if I was having twins, presumably to make fun of the size of my stomach. No staff stepped in. No staff apologized to me. It was the worst service experience I have ever encountered. I would not recommend anyone visit this establishment.

Austin was a wondering sommelier. He had great suggestions, personable and made our experience perfect!

Helen our wine server was so welcoming and recommended some of their best wines including the tempranillo and the threesome. We had their crazy good sourdough bread with a salad which was off the charts.

First we were with Poppin tours and we were lead out to tables at 100 plus temperature to sit in the sun. We ordered some food which was fine but were not given napkins plates or utensils until we asked. They didn’t want to provide a de card wine for undesirable wines, which by the way mostly were undesirable. It was not a pleasant experience there and I would never recommend a stop there. There are much better wineries. Give this one a pass!

A MUST VISIT WINERY. Ann, Ann, Ann, and Ray. Ann is the manager of this place and she is awesome. If you want a great experience-she is the woman to know. Ray is one of the wine expert/maker and he is amazing. I followed them from another winery I love their spirit and energy so much. The vibe is great and the wine is good. The music top notch. The jazz guy and dj on Saturday turn the party out. The band on the second Saturday is good also. And the BRIE……Magnificent . I love this place so much I can’t say enough. Sorry I only have videos. No photos.

It’s my daughters bday month celebration and I wanted to bring them here to enjoy a nice ambience and relaxing time. Everyone was very kind and attentive. The live band was so cool and played some awesome music! 10/10. For lunch we had tomato bisque bowl 10/10, clam chowder bowl 10/10, chicken panini pesto 6/10, Tuscan pasta 9/10. Overall it was a great experience and I definitely recommend everyone one to come at least once but I think after one time you will make this a frequent place. We also had boozy pop mango 10/10 and mangoneada 10/10. See you next time! Awesome place to visit for sure!

I love this place so much and it’s the only place that has the delicious brie filled cheese bread! I wish more people knew about it because I don’t ever want it to go away! And every time I talk about it with anyone they don’t know what I’m talking about so I show them the pictures.

I recently had the pleasure of revisiting Maurice Car’rie/Ultimate Winery, and what an experience it was! Since our last visit, they’ve incorporated the new reds and wines from Ultimate Winery, and we couldn’t be happier with the addition. Of course, we have to rave about their famous baked garlic sourdough bread bowl with Brie—it’s a must-have every time and the perfect shareable.

The property is expansive, with a large grassy area where families and friends can relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. My wife and I shared a bottle of their Petite Syrah, which was absolutely fantastic! Our server, Alan, went above and beyond by letting us sample a few wines before we made our choice, which we really appreciated.

In addition to the wine, they now have a full food menu, and we were blown away by the mushroom toast—it was delicious! Miguel, another amazing server, provided excellent service during our visit as well. We also tried the white wine Tango, and it was a perfect pairing with the food.

This place is perfect for large groups, with plenty of picturesque spots for photos. Conveniently located at the start of wine country, right off Rancho California Road, it’s easy to get to and an ideal stop. We loved the addition of the Ultimate Winery wines alongside the classic sparkling wines from Maurice Car’rie.

Highly recommend this winery for any gathering, and don’t forget to impress your group with that Brie bowl—it never disappoints!

I stopped into Maurice Car'rie recently with a group of girlfriends for lunch after wine tasting at nearby Halter Ranch (where they don't have food). They're best known (for good reason) for their famous garlic sourdough bread baked with Brie cheese...and of course, someone in our group ordered this to share with all! I had the pesto chicken pizza which was also amazing. The casual menu has something for everyone and the food is all great. Our group shared several bottles - Syrah, Rosé Grenache and one of the sparklings. It was a beautiful afternoon and we took over a big table on the covered outdoor side porch. The staff are all so friendly and helpful; service is excellent!

We were fortunate enough to meet winemaker James through his adorable dog Milo who was running around in the grassy area. While talking to James, he graciously offered our group a very special port education and tasting from the barrel! What an absolute treat...and testament to the wonderful people who work at Maurice Car'rie!
