We like everything here. Great.

Nice winery and great value tasting with live music in the general seating area. Beautiful views. At the Bistro, I surely recommend the flat iron steak sandwich which was prepared perfect. Comes with Side salad and delicious dressing
Great place to be 5 stars
Nie winery where the sweet rose was my fave from the tastings. Equal balance of whites and reds available. Nice outdoor patio with live music. Food was good, just the brussels were a little dry.
Julia and Rick are amazing ! They gave us an amazing tasting and treated us like family !!! I signed up just because of them and we will be back for sure !
Great food. Wine is fabulous. Lovely location.

⭐ 4/5 – Quick Service, Good Food, but Wine Isn’t What It Used to Be
This winery was better in the past, but lately, the wine has felt a bit underwhelming. The reserve flights are the best choice, as the regular selections are just average. If you’re coming here for the wine alone, you might be disappointed.
🍷 The Wine: 3.5/5
The wine used to be stronger, but now it’s just okay. The reserve flights are worth it, but the standard wines are nothing special.
🍽️ The
The kitchen is surprisingly good for a winery. Whether you’re stopping in for a tasting or a meal, the food is well-prepared and pairs nicely with the wines.
🛎️ The
Service is quick and efficient, which is always appreciated at a busy winery. The staff is friendly and keeps things moving.
🏡 The
The setting is nice with decent views, but not the most picturesque in Temecula. However, easy parking is a huge plus, making it more convenient than some other wineries.
💰 The Verdict: A Good Winery with Great Service, but Not the Best Wine
✅ Reserve flights are worth trying
✅ Fast service and a solid kitchen
✅ Easy parking and a comfortable atmosphere
❌ Wine isn’t as great as it used to be
❌ Not the best views compared to other wineries
Would I come back? Yes, but mostly for the food and convenience rather than the wine.
Staff were very knowledgeable of the wine selection. Facility was overall clean, food was good. Outside dining with a beautiful view.

Mary is fabulous! I learned so much! I will ALWAYS remember this winery b c as use of this experience and she is the primary reason!
My wife and I come to Temecula from the Chicago area around once a year and usually stop here for a glass of wine. After joining and quitting several wine clubs over the years we wondered why we never joined this one, which we like so well. So we did! Item for item we both ft this is one of the better wineries in the area.
Beware wine club members! I joined their club back in 2020 and was a member until 2022. I have no issues with the wine I received- still enjoying it. My issue and the reason for the rating is that after I cancelled, they continue to charge my credit card without shipping the wine. I have called multiple times to resolve and have been forced to dispute the charges. I am suspicious in that how can they charge me and not provide shipments? Anyway, be careful!
We love starting our Temecula winery adventures at this beautiful spot with its stunning outdoor patio and panoramic views. The kitchen is outstanding—we usually enjoy the charcuterie plate, truffle fries, and delicious pizza. It’s the perfect way to fuel up before wine tasting. The atmosphere is kid-friendly, the customer service is exceptional, and while the wines are decent, we often pick up a bottle or two to share with friends and family while savoring lunch on the patio.
I recently visited Monte De Oro Winery during my trip from Nevada, and I have to say, I was quite disappointed. The wine was not up to par; it lacked the depth and character I was hoping for. It felt more like a mass-produced product than a carefully crafted wine.
Additionally, the atmosphere was less than welcoming. The employees seemed miserable, which really detracted from the experience. A friendly and engaging staff can make all the difference in a winery visit, but that was sadly lacking here.
Overall, my experience at Monte De Oro was underwhelming, and I left feeling sorry for the staff rather than enjoying a delightful day of wine tasting. I hope they can make some improvements in both their product and their workplace culture.
