The food was better than I expected, with one exception.

The $8 side of sausage tasted like it had been cooked with the hamburgers. Which tells me they have not cleaned their grill since yesterday.

It makes you wonder what else haven’t they cleaned.

Wait staff and hostess very friendly and competent.

Clean the damn grill kitchen staff!

For this restaurant to be in the Pechanga Resort Casino, it is very convenient. Upon arriving, I was seated immediately. However, I had to wait a long time to even find my server. In fact, I had to call on a hostess. She felt bad for me so she went to get my water and retrieve my server. Then my food took an extremely long time to arrive. My server did let me know that the was food taking a little longer than usual. However, it would be out soon. After the food arrived, my server did not ever come to check on me and my food. However, he provided me with the bill and merely walked off without acknowledging me. Since I did not see my server after that point, I asked another server to contact a manager for me. After waiting a very long time, I called on the original hostess to retrieve the manager for me. After the manager arrived, I notified her about my dissatisfaction with my server. She did not even know who my server was.

Food was just terrible no flavor on anything at all. Need new chefs, tried steak and eggs. Fail, pancakes, fail, potatoes with eggs no seasoning along with the steak. Service was cool, waitress was nice. 🫡

2 days ago Monady I had placed an order for 2 cinnamon rolls with pecans on the side at 9:22 pm with a cashier named linlinq and asked for an ETA from which I was told 20 minutes. I noticed several staff members were not occcupied and maybe like 3 tables in the Pala Cafe to which it looked pretty slow. After the 20 min went by I had asked for an update on my order and a different cashier named Samantha said she'll go check up on it. When she brought the order to me I opened the food boxes to make sure the pecans were on the side, which they weren't. I brought this up to the cashiers attention and showed her my receipt also says Pecans OTS and she offered to remake it, to which I agreed to, she also took the receipt with her. At this point it is already 10pm and my order was still not out. I politely asked for an update and this time it was the first cashier linlinq; she stated she'll be back and check up on the order. When she brings it to me I check the food items again and there were pecans on it. I am allergic to pecans. 40 min had passed by and my order of 2 cinnamon rolls was not accurately made. I then asked to speak to a manager Greg to communicate how it's been 40 min and my order could not be accurately made. He repeats the entire process I just went through of getting the food remade and how sorry he so call was, however its already 10:15 and my order was still not done. I then ask linlinq to give me a refund because the order is taking too long and it is taking more then 3 people including a manger to figure out what's going on with a simple order. She then goes to the back to find the manager Greg and he comes to the front and asked if I wanted a refund. I had said yes I would like a refund please, however he had said what can I do, to make this better for you or something similar to which I said look I don't think it's right for me to wait over 40 min for two 2 cinnamon rolls and not even get a slight discount nor anything. To which he said let me see what I can do and then, the other worker named Samantha comes through and asks what's going on. Greg replies he wants a refund and if it's ok to give him the food as well. She then smirks at me, Greg smirks and linlinq as well and they start laughing and Samantha says "thats not how it works honey". First of all I, the manager asked me how he can make it right for me and I implied a discount if so. Second, since when is it okay to smurk and laugh at customers in front if their faces and act like that if the situation is not serious. Third, I'm still waiting on my refund which no one can figure out. Time goes by and I see Greg helping other customer cashing them out, so it linlinq etc, so at this point it's like a slap in the face because why are they being cashed out and I'm still waiting. Greg then says " because we need the register" to which i replied " I was here before this customer arrived and you've been just walking back and forth doing i dont know what and if you need the register why didn't you use it before they order. Anyway, what really upset me was when he said "I dont know how to give you a refund" to which inwas super angry and told him you mean to.twll me.i stayed another 10 min watching you move back and forth just for me not to even get a refund. This is so ridiculous and I asked how are you a manager. If that was the case why didn't you call someone else who.knows how to do it. So kind you he leaves to the back so call to get someone. Like another 10 min go back and I ask linlinq to please go get me someone I just want my cash refund ( I had payed in cash). So then someone else come comes out named Frances and we explained to her the situation, she then explains that she can give me the food or the refund but I keep telling her I only want my refund. She then takes more time figuring out and says that the only thing she can accommodate for the inconvenience is she can give us 1 DRINK for free. Like really, that's a slap in the

Had chicken soup, hamburger.
Soup was good flavour and plentiful, only the chicken was so dry and chewey i couldnt eat more than a few spoonfuls. The burger, ordered medium, was good size and presented well, only again the meat was overcooked and not very moist.
Server was very friendly.

The service is slow. No one acknowledged us for 15 minutes after we sat down. Barely getting a waitress after sitting for 20 mins. We finally ordered and 30mins in still didn’t have my food, so we left. The dining area was full of trash. No one was bussing the tables and the manager didn’t looked concerned. Very upsetting. I was looking forward to my appetizers.

Long ago Pechanga Cafe used to be decent. They were never great, just decent. But, they had a few things that were pretty good. Through the years the menu got smaller and smaller, and the food got worse, and worse. Items that were once pretty good, were reduced to being, at best average. Cost cutting efforts have decimated this restaurant over the years. If your cost cutting efforts make the food SUCK, what is the point in running a restaurant, especially having the best location in the hotel occupied by the worst restaurant in the whole casino.

On my last visit my aunt just wanted hot water to drink and they charge $3.00 for HOT WATER. Which I guess is an improvement over last year. Last Thanksgiving they were charging $4.00 for hot water, and $4.00 for extra gravy. I good way to drive away your customers. On this visit I ordered the Brisket Fries. It was a very bad choice. When it arrived it looked pretty good, however looks can be deceiving. Each individual ingredient tasted fine, but together it didn't work. The worst part was under the brisket, a mass of cheese combined with limp soggy fries, disgusting. For the most part service is okay, but how can a server make it better when the food SUCKS.

Horrible food, service & atmosphere. I ordered a chicken sandwich only to find that it tasted like a fried fish sandwich. The manager Frances came over and initially stated that “Yes, we fry our fish and chicken in the same oil.” I asked for a tuna sandwich instead with a side Cesar salad that I could eat while waiting. She came back on her own accord and stayed, “we tested the oil and no we don’t fry the chicken and fish in the same oil.” As if to say I was lying, CRAZY! The salad and tuna sandwich took so long I was sharing my fiancé’s food. The manager stated she wouldn’t offer any compensation .. demanded my player’s card and was completely unprofessional and rude. Not worth ruining your vacation and coming to this sorry excuse of a place. Manager Frances could use a few courses in hospitality and customer service.

Our server Mai and the cashier Kiley were great. Both polite and cheerful. The hostesses which I failed to get her name(this was on Tues sept 24 at 9am) was rude and unwelcoming.
