I love this place. It's one of my local favs! The Surfin Cowboy/Old Scool Tacos, Garlic Cotija Fries, and Watermelon Sangria never disappoint!

You aren't beating the Chile Verde tacos for flavor or price. Add a little lime, incredible. Also, have their house made chips and a Mexican Coke or Fanta. Great food.

It was quite hot inside, so we opted for the cooler outside. They have a cute patio chair set up. I had the blackened salmon taco. I loved it. I do suggest that if you don't like spicy, please have the hold the jalapeños.Our waitress was Jen. Her service was excellent , and the hostess was delightful. Will definitely be back. Prices were reasonable as well :) also get the skinny margaritas ? yum!

Food has become inconsistent. We used to eat lunch here a couple of times a month. Wife loved the 3 Cheese Enchiladas Plate. Last three times we got three different plates not nearly as good as before. Asked server and was told they are training back there. Well if that's what the person training is allowing to come out of their kitchen the trainer is bad.

Just finishing a meal at the Cowgirl Cantina. Food was delicious. But more importantly service was EXCELLENT! Cameron our server checked on us multiple times and with a smiling face and happy attitude made our experience delightful. Bravo for the wonderful combo of good food and good people at the same restaurant! (A rare find these days).

I love the Chile Verde Burrito Especial. I order this every time. The brazed pork is so good. And you get so much meat! I also like the margarita.

We visited Renes Cowgirl Cantina and I was initially worried when I walked in as there were very few people but it was about 3pm. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food - it was hot and delicious. I would definitely consider going back again.

LOVE this place! Sweet servers, great food and because not on main street, ice and quiet. Decorated nicely, lots of outdoor eating spots. Always love coming here! The barbacoa is excellent too!

We were so warmly greeted here. The server was considerate and respectful of us coming in with our dog. She was super nice with us and our needs. I am a deadly combination of diabetic and vegetarian resulting in extremely less food options. The server took her time to understand and recommend some amazing options on the menu. The food was yummmyyy. I am not used to having good food. I just eat whatever meets my requirements. She also brought our dog his own little meal of grilled chimken (chicken in people language) and water bowl. I would totally recommend this place if you are looking for an overall experience of happiness and delight.
Vegetarian options: Yes
Dietary restrictions: I got vegetarian and diabetic friendly meal. The server told us about vegan options too

My friends and I found this place slightly off the beaten path in Old Town Temecula. We’re glad we did because we were hungry and all the other places were packed. This was a Sunday so we ordered Mimosas. There was only one server and she was doing her best to help everyone. She checked on us several times. I ordered huevos rancheros and they were delicious. I’m very picky because not every place makes them well. The eggs were not overcooked and the sauce was tasty. My friends said their meals were also delicious. The chips and salsa were good. If you want a great Mexican Meal this is the place to go. That’s my BIG FAT OPINION.
My wife and I had dinner here last night. Had not been here before so was looking forward to a nice meal. We were seated quickly. Ordered drinks and guacamole and each of us got a burrito. I had the carne asada and she got the al pastor. Guac came quickly and not bad and was a good portion. However it took half an hour for the burritos to get out and it wasn't even busy yet. Once we got them we had to get our silver from the bar. They were plastic and the burritos were in a plastic dish. Burritos weren't bad just a little dry. Overall it was just ok
Food was overpriced based on the quality. Chips were horrible. The pastor had too much fat gristle. Even the Bloody Mary didn't have a long enough straw for the glass, and I got my face dirty with every sip. Outside seats weren't comfortable either. I won't be back.
