Richie's Real American Diner

I invited my grandchildren for dinner at Richie’s in Temecula. I was rally disappointed! I ordered a glass of wine and the glass wine was so dirty. I let the server know and she changed the glass. When we were eating our salads, my grandson had a pintcher bug crawling all over his salad. We showed our server and got another salad. It was a horrible experience!

When my husband and I arrived the greeter asked where we would like to sit. We asked for the outside section. We went outside and she asked, where would you like to sit, so I pointed to a table. As we approached the selected table she stopped us and said ,nope....you can't sit here because it's too far for the waitress to walk to. I turned and looked at other people who are already sitting down which they were only three feet away from the table I picked out. We ended up returning to the inside of the diner.

Our server was AMAZING! The restaurant lacks quality food. My eggs Benedict was over cooked to which it looked like two hard boiled eggs under the sauce. The Richies compared to the one in Murrieta is terrible. We will not be returning to the Temecula location.

This is one of my favorite places. Have been going here for years. There's not a bad thing on the menu! Great all around. Always friendly service and wonderful food.
The dinner is homey 40's decor and always decorated for each holiday

Great food and friendly staff huge shout out to Raelyn for always being professional, courteous and attentive. I've ordered here now 3 times and each time was a pleasant experience thank you Raelyn for the excellent customer service.

I love this place & best steaks in town, especially the prime rib on the weekends. I wish they hadn't changed the fried chicken. This NEW recipe isn't Linda's fried chicken. So forget Wednesdays fried chicken.

Bro the food is mid. Theming is cute tho. Service was ok. But I was called out for ordering off the kids menu 😭😭 like girl mind your own business. There were 3 other people in my group that also did but never got called out. Only I did. I was just not hungry and didn’t feel like spending $30 on a meal that I’m not gonna enjoy. Besides that the service was good. It was just one lady who was judging me. Like girl it doesn’t affect your paycheck if I’m ordering off the kids menu 😒😒. I would give service one for that but I don’t want to throw the other workers who were really sweet under the bus. Overall not the greatest experience. I wouldn’t recommend tbh.

Incompetent and arrogant. That is what I experienced this morning. First the server brought me the wrong toast. OK mistakes happen. But, when another server brought the correct toast I said thx just set it down. Her response was i am not leaving the plate take your toast and put it on your plate. Wow where does that attitude come from. The server who took my order was very nice and had it correct. I suspect the person who brought the correct toast was the incompetent one.
