Rival Coffee Co. - Temecula

Not sure what's going on here...I walked into the front door and it's a different sit down restaurant with a different name and much higher menu prices than the Rival Coffee advertised here. Apparently "Rival Coffee" is drive through only according to the menu.Weird experience. I wasn't going to spend $25 on a simple breakfast so I left.Food may be wonderful...I didn't try it.

Island loco moco was great!!! Service was good!! Great place to come and eat.

I guess it's still new as far as opening the doors. Not all the tables were set up for customers. Customers should not need to get their own chairs set up for a group of 5. Coffee was not hot enough.

My family and I went to this coffee shop for the first time. We went there because it is close to where my son works. This place has food and coffee. We tried the rival breakfast sandwich, this was the BOMB!!!! It's is the best homemade breakfast sandwich I have had!! We also tried the loaded fries. . Holy cow ? they are out of this world! Our best regards to Gordon their cook.For $7.00 you can have something mouth watering that has so much flavor. It's way better than fast food and about the same price. They have electrical charging stations at almost every table and a great atmosphere. I totally recommend this coffee shop.

Parking: The parking is in a strip mall so sometimes it could be busy.

Wheelchair accessibility: They have handicap parking in the front and a drive thru.

So I would leave 5 stars if food was balanced a little better. I’ll explain in a minute. As far as everything else, this place it’s great! The staff, the vibe, the coffee and the cleanliness of it is great. As far as the food goes I don’t mean to sound picky but there are things that just bug me, The food itself has good flavor and looks great but there are simple things they could do to improve such as, we have gotten the breakfast burrito with sausage, avocado toast with balsamic glaze, vegan hash, and there bacon egg breakfast sandwich (which was the best). The breakfast burrito, they don’t mess around it’s huge! But they don’t drain the breakfast sausage after cooking and all the grease gets trapped in the burrito and it feels your wearing chapstick half way through it and I couldn’t finish it because of it. The avocado toast with balsamic glaze has way to much balsamic glaze! As in that’s all you taste. It’s a bit much. The vegan hash is very good but things need to be chopped smaller and the veggies need to be sautéd. The veggies and the sausage pieces are to big so it’s hard to eat it like a bowl and get a little bit of everyone in one bite. The breakfast sandwich Is very good. Don’t mean to sound picky or complain cus this place was awesome and I do recommend coming here! but those little thing were make there food amazing!

Good expresso. I’ll try the food next time.

Breakfast burrito with bacon. Very good. The bacon excellent.

Had a great team serving this morning. They were efficient and quick with orders.My friend has a gluten allergy and they switched out utensils to make sure her order was as gluten free as possible.My Cookie Butter latte was amazing. Our breakfast dishes were delicious. The Avocado Toast with an added egg was great and satisfying.The atmosphere strikes me as a place for studying or working as the background noise is there.Would definitely visit again.

The coffee was fair. My favorite had to be their gourmet donuts. Creme filled with a selection of other toppings. Come here for that if nothing else

Stopped by March 2022. They didn't have drip coffee because the machine was broken. They sold beans so I grabbed some and made my own.Came by July 2022. Drip coffee machine STILL broken, and now they have no containers for the beans. Feels like the owner has no interest in taking care of this location.

This was my second time coming here. I work down the street and I'm really pumped this place is here. I'd rather support small business than Starbucks. The food is super bomb, a lot of avocado and dank breakfast burritos, get the green sauce yo. Super good vibes and professional service. Will be my new daily

1st time here since my favorite Steak 'n Shake is no longer here. I tried their creme Brule and had it made half sweet. Itt was very tasty, but it took longer to make than I thought it would. I'd still try them again in the future if they can stay in business being off of the beaten path.

Coffee was good but only served in a paper cup. The background music was cranked so loud that is was difficult enjoy a cup of coffee and have a conversation.
