This place used to be so good but it’s just not the same anymore. It always smells like sewage in the restaurant and if you make any changes to your order they’ll never get it right. They just don’t care about customers anymore.Don’t waste your money.

The 5 stars were for Rosa's Cantina before the new ownership took over. My family and I loved coming here. We would usually go once per year, while on the way home from a San Diego area RV camping trip. I have many great memories of this place and spending time with my wife and kids. The food was always good, prices were good, and it was a nice place to sit for lunch. I'm sorry to hear that it closed down, however it does not sound like the new ownership did Rosa's Cantina any justice.

Sorry to say it looks like they have closed for good. Was our favorite place in Old Town. Sometimes it's best to leave a good thing the way it is (1909 Ownership!) Rosa's will be missed. Authentic good tasting affordable Mexican food is becoming a memory in Old Town. Your choices now are Espadin-Overpriced and unflavored The Bank- consistently terrible service and food that tastes like it is straight out of a can. Lienzo Charro- Got food poisoning last time we ate there. I would suggest Cowgirl Cantina in Old Town. Consistently good.

Slow that day I've had better visits there

We always come to Rosa's when we are visiting in Temecula. Four stars for food taste and quality. Carne Asada has always been some of the best and really seems like chopped grilled steak, and not grisly pieces of leftovers that some taco shops serve. Pollo Asada is also flavorful and has a nice citrus taste. Excellent chips and really good salsa selection including Pico de Gallo. They got our order number mixed up with someone else but it was no big deal. The restrooms are clean, but the restaurant dining area needs a makeover or update. Parking in the back is convenient, but no longer free. You have to download an app to your phone and then pay $2.50 for an hour. Took a little while to download, set up an account and pay. I asked the cashier about it and I guess the lot is not under their control anymore so it's not really their fault, but it seems s something to be aware of ahead of time.

Under new management. New prices and less inviting. Shame because It was one of the last old town restaurants before all the money rolled in.

Delicious!!!! My only complaint was I was so full I had to stop eating. Took my family here. We had beef enchiladas, cheese enchiladas, fish tacos, and pork tacos. Everything was delicious. I ordered chips and salsa thinking it might take time for food, but food arrived before we could get too far into the chips. Love this place.

My experience was good service and good food and excellent Mango Margaritas. Clean and we'll staffed it seemed.

What happened to this place?! My family came here to eat and not one, but 2 benches broke under the weight of my 70 pound 11 year old. Broke! We told the server and she went to tell the manager what happened. The j*** came over to look at the benches.... and that was it. Didn't ask my son if he was ok, tell us sorry, or anything! What a joke. Guess that's it for you guys... bye felicia!

The food used to be way better , very bland no flavor! And now charge for parking behind the building.

Always a favorite! Been getting the Family special here for 20 years +(substitute the shredded beef for the carnitas- yum! ). Great chips, freshly made tortillas, guacamole and salsas. Also very reasonably priced for catering.

Adios!!!! Rosa's was a great place to regularly grab lunch. Now it's $2.50 for parking, $14 for a taco plate with drink that used to be $7.99, the up charges don't match the menu (I.E. menu said $.50 for carne asada and didn't mention chicken... well $1.50 for carne asada and $1.00 for chicken)! Sorry, new ownership and food quality went downhill = won't be back! Seems to be a common theme on Yelp.

I used to like Rosa's Cantina. But recently I brought a friend there from out of town. I was so disappointed in the food. And then I came to notice that they had a rodent problem. The restaurant was not clean and nobody was working the tables at all. So sad. I hope they will improve soon and get their reputation back.

I was planning a gathering for my son going into the Army. I went to five different restaurants looking to have food catered. Minimal success. The last one I stopped at was Rosa's Cantina. I walked in and posted on the wall was the info I needed for catering with exactly what I was looking for. Three meats, rice, beans, tortillas, guacamole, chips two different salsas, plates, flatware and napkins. The young man at the register was able to help take my order immediately. He was very efficient and knowledgeable. I received a call from the restaurant a couple days prior confirming everything. My son picked up the order with no difficulty despite the construction that was happening. The food, let's just say everyone at the party was raving how delicious and moist the meat was. I ordered enough for 25 guests. There were a lot of big eaters and everyone went back for seconds and some thirds. I still have food left! Nobody left hungry. I highly recommend Rosa's Cantina on Front Street for your catering needs. Flawless and delicious!
