Food and the service were great. I was there at 1130 for lunch with my wife. Food is always great, salsa bar was well prepared and the service was very friendly and courteous. Only issue I had was the cleanliness. We decided to eat at yhe restaurant and the table was too sticky. We had to move to another table and I still had to clean the table with moist napkin. Not to be picky and complaining but the table seem not cleaned at all.

Always a nice lunch and always good food. They keep the place pretty clean and everything's reasonably priced. I would say it's good quality food. The staff is nice.

The young man who took my order was great. The food even tasted great. I really could have enjoyed it more if it wasn't for the hair in the food. A couple bites into the tacos, I thought, felt something , then I see one on the plate next to the tortilla chips. You guys, come on!!!-

Our server Nessie is absolutely wonderful. You walk in the door. You get a hello and a smile. When she brings you your food, you get a hello and a smile. And she never forgets to tell you goodbye and have a great day. It's our favorite Rubio's

The gourmet tacos and street corn are both excellent — full of flavor and great ingredients. They also offer a good selection of house-made drinks like lemonade and brewed teas, which are all really refreshing. The staff is generally friendly and welcoming. My only wish is that it were a full sit-down restaurant instead of self-serve, because the quality of the food really deserves a more polished dining experience.
Highly recommended!
I recently visited Rubio’s Coastal Grill, drawn in by their promise of fresh, coastal-inspired flavors and a healthier take on fast-casual Mexican cuisine. While the overall experience had its highlights, there were a few areas that left something to be desired.
Ambiance & Cleanliness:
The restaurant was clean and well-maintained, with a relaxed, beachy vibe that matched the “coastal” theme. The décor is casual yet inviting, and the staff at the counter were friendly and attentive. My order was taken quickly and efficiently, and the food came out in a reasonable amount of time.
Food Quality & Flavor:
I ordered the Coastal Trio, which included a grilled wild Mahi Mahi taco, a shrimp taco, and a classic fish taco, along with a side of chips and salsa. The flavors were undeniably fresh—the grilled seafood was nicely seasoned, and the tortillas had that soft, authentic feel you look for in a good taco joint. The accompanying chipotle sauce and salsa were well-balanced, adding just enough heat and zest.
Portion Size:
The biggest downside to my visit was the portion size. The tacos, though flavorful, were quite small. Even with the trio, I didn’t feel fully satisfied. For a restaurant that markets itself as a filling lunch or dinner spot, the amount of food didn’t quite live up to expectations, especially considering the price point. The chips were also a smaller portion than I’ve come to expect from similar fast-casual chains.
Price vs. Value:
This is where Rubio’s slightly missed the mark. While the quality of ingredients was commendable—and I understand the cost of sustainably sourced seafood is higher—I still felt that the portion-to-price ratio was a little off. It’s not overpriced for what it is, but it’s not exactly a great value either if you’re going in hungry.
Final Thoughts:
Overall, Rubio’s Coastal Grill delivers on flavor and freshness, with a menu that feels lighter and more health-conscious than typical fast food. However, if you’re looking for a hearty meal or something to really fill you up, you might leave wanting more. It’s a great spot for a light lunch or a quick bite, but I’d recommend ordering an extra side or entrée if you’ve got an appetite.
Excellent sea food, the only regular thing is they make a lot of rice and very few 5 shrimp

Went to order food today and unfortunately, I think my order was input incorrectly or misunderstood. Regardless Richard, I believe he’s newer at this location completely had top-notch customer service. After I waited quite a bit for my food and he realized an item was missing he quickly hopped on it and The item that was missing was cooked up super quick, and he was gracious and covered it at no charge just for the inconvenience. Great customer service, nice guy and would recommend in the future
