This used to be a good little spot, but today completely changed my opinion. Before my food even arrived, I was questioned by about whether I was going to eat my salsa. He actually said they were “trying to keep costs down.” Really? It felt like he was watching us just to see if we touched the salsa. That’s not the kind of dining experience anyone wants.

On top of that, the bathrooms have been closed to customers for a long time—maybe to save on toilet paper costs? The food itself has gone downhill too. The burritos are skimpy on ingredients and taste more like a flat Taco Bell burrito than something fresh and authentic.

I’d rather spend my hard-earned money at a place that appreciates and values its customers. Unfortunately, Serrano’s Fresco Grill no longer feels like that place.

Serrano’s Fresco Grill is not just a restaurant—it’s a part of my family’s story, a place that has been with us through every chapter of life, and truly a pillar of the Temecula community.

I still remember the very first time we came here. My family had just moved to America, I was only 10 years old, and everything felt so new and overwhelming. Serrano’s quickly became a comfort, a place where we felt welcomed and embraced. Now, at 32, I can look back and see how Serrano’s has been with us for more than two decades, and I cannot imagine our lives or memories without it.

This restaurant has been present at every stage—birthdays, graduations, weddings, baby showers, and even during our hardest moments, like funerals. Their food has nourished us not only physically but emotionally, because behind every plate is love, consistency, and tradition.

Personally, my favorites have always been the Shrimp Flautas and Serrano’s Combo Burrito. Every bite reminds me of why this place is so special—every ingredient is fresh, every dish is made to order, and you can taste the dedication of Chef Arturo in every single meal. And I cannot forget to mention the salsas—made fresh every single day. There is truly nothing that compares to them. They’re vibrant, full of flavor, and the perfect example of how Serrano’s never cuts corners. Everything here is crafted with care.

What makes Serrano’s stand out even more is the people behind it. Victor, the owner, and his wife Claudia, keep everything running with so much heart and dedication. They’ve created more than just a restaurant—they’ve created a gathering place where everyone feels like family. Whether you’ve been coming for years or it’s your first time walking through the doors, you feel that same warmth, welcome, and connection.

Serrano’s Fresco Grill has been more than a restaurant to my family—it has been a tradition, a comfort, and a safe haven to celebrate life in all its forms. Temecula is so lucky to have this gem, and I am forever grateful for the memories Serrano’s has given us and continues to give. For as long as I can remember, and for as long as I can look forward, Serrano’s will always be part of my story.

I've been going to this mom and pop shop since 2013. Never disappointed 💯

Very fresh, quality food. Salsa bar gave it away immediately. Victor is amazing.

I used to work at a nearby Penske truck rental ,they turned me onto this place in 2018 and I'm glad they did the food is fantastic . I've had burrittos, quesadilla, tacos, tostada, all are extremely tasty. In my opinion they're the best in Temecula and the region. I've been all over so I know. The owner and his wife work in the store and are very friendly. Id gladly eat there 3 days a week if I could.

My son loved the chicken enchiladas, beans and rice. The owner is so gracious and kind. Loved the taquitos, they were crispy and hot. We’ll be back soon!

As I left California for the last time, From all possible choices, I chose Serrano's for my last meal here.

Excellent customer service, fast service, and delicious mexican food and salsas! The restaurant is also very clean and modern payment processing equipment.
Definitely recommend this restaurant for your lunch breaks or quick lunch with friends and family.

Ordered a Serrano Burrito with Al Pastor. Very flavorful. Very clean and wonderful customer service. Love the selection of salsas. Fast service. Will come back to try the other foods on the menu like the Tacos, Burritos, Quesadillas and Tortas. A must try if you looking for a great Mexican food.
