The classic teppan experience with familiar menu choices and preparation. It's noisy and a good deal. I recommend this place. The traditional entertaining flair of the chef left something to be desired however.
We had a great time and the food was amazing !!! Our cook was so good !! My niece and nephew loved it too !! Will definitely go back !!
We had one of the best dinners ever at Shogun. The chef was amazing put on a really great show. One of the best we've had in a long time. The seafood was perfect. The steaks were incredible and I really want to say that our chef was just one of the best we've ever had.
We had made reservations online for 630 arrived at 6:20. We were seated by 6:45.. menu felt a bit confusing but staff was available for questions. This was my and my family's first time we've been to something similar, but not Shogun entertainment was great for the kids. I had 11 and nine year-old with me. It was plenty of food servings although the chef put pepper on everything had the food overwhelming with pepper. Had a hard time understanding the Chef, and we had asked for no pepper on the shrimps and still put pepper.. the food was great. We did have to ask the server several times for some lemon and it took a little bit to get the appetizer and soup plates taken. My son said he loved it. He didn't like it. He loved it. Definitely go back.
Great time with our family. The server was very sweet and understood our dietary restrictions. Chef was knowledgeable on how to prepare gluten free food and make the evening entertaining.
Shogun is always fun and entertaining, but the restaurant is getting a little long in the tooth. They remodeled the front area, but the back is in disarray with the back waĺl and bathroom hallway used for open storage. Dinner itself was fun and the service was good as well. We went early on Saturday and didn't realize how popular it had become with young families. At times it felt a bit like Chuckee Cheese, but I'm sure Dinner is probably more tame.
Went there for mu sons birthday, specified on our reservation. It was first time habachi dinning for his gf so we thought it would be so fun and a great experience for her.
Well…. Our server had a horrible attitude not one smile just bad attitude all together. Throughly the duration of our meal, ordered a drink and got it 20min later after we had to remind or get someone else to check on the drink, then came the cook, his attitude too was very blah no eye contact with us, over cooked some of our stuff, thr cook behind us has great atmosphere music that we enjoyed. When he finished our cook put music on and if I tell you it gave us a headache is an understatement it was that hard metal music. Horrible service altogether good over cooked and dealt with bad attitudes. Asked the server about the birthday and they had an attitude about it, rudely dropped a piece of desert with a candle that she didn’t even light Infront of my son as if it was an inconvenience. I’ve called to complain to a manager all week and ive been getting they are not available right now, I’ve left my number and nothing. Just sux that I paid over $400
For 7 of us to what was suppose to be a break experience to not so much. Very disappointed

Been coming here for years. Always a great experience but today was our first time with the cook Joel. He was absolutely amazing! We will be making sure we request Joel again moving forward! He seasoned everything perfectly!

I gave 5 stars but, I WISH I could give our particular chef a ZERO! The manager did let us know you can request a chef there, we Love Wes and Rigo! They are friendly, fun and their positive energy goes into your food and it tastes great! We went today and neither were available sadly, we got stuck with a guy that was aggressively throwing the food onto the grill, no show (which doesn’t bother us) we come for the food mainly, but our table had another group with little kids and he made no effort to entertain. He also can’t follow simple instructions for our meal. We had to ask our server to bring us food from the kitchen just to meet our order. Once be realized he made a mistake, it was a shrug of the shoulders, BRENDEN…. Your expertise Is probably warranted anywhere but Shogun! And according to the staff we aren’t the only ones to complain, and we had had you before and thought, maybe he’s having a bad day, a one off, NOPE, that’s just you bro. Be better.

This restaurant continues to deliever with its quality and variety. The service was amazing and our waiter was very attentive and kind. The sole reason I don't come here more often is because of how expensive it is. The prices are by no means cheap, but the experience does compensate. Overall, a good restaurant.
