Been here multiple times always great recently the last three times I have walk-in for a party of 2 between 545-630 I have literally been told no walk-ins at capacity. You close at 10pm. That is 3.5 to 4 hours prior to closing that is absolutely ridiculous. With your new competitor Benhianna just across that get people in as quick as 30 to 45 mins. You could think you'd try harder.

Not sure if management was taken over or what happened but this place would be able to steal my wallet with me happily eating… however, recently the service has not been the best, and the food not up to par like before. Maybe depends what you order because the ceviche roll is amazing but the chicken fried rice is more bland with a spoonful of chicken for the whole plate. Cleanliness wise usually get dirty forks and mucky looking glasses. This place used to pass expectations but has shifted to very blah.

The server was attentive. Lewis, the chef was fabulous. The food tasted amazing.5 of us were there so we made a reservation. My parents just celebrated their 54th anniversary so they brought a cake out and sang to them.We ordered the fillet mignon, shrimp, two teriyaki chickens and New York steak. The meals came with a ton of food. The fried rice and grilled veggies were very tasty. All the meats were cooked to perfection. The restaurant was clean.

Horrible service, wouldn’t sit out whole party of 15 because one person was running late, why not accommodate and let us order for them or let them be seated when they arrive? Put the whole birthday party behind because of traffic. Would not recommend for any type of event with multiple

Although it could be a hit and miss as far as the chef even the biggest mess is still a four star experience. I tend to always get the Shogun special as I love filet mignon with lobster tail. What's amazing as well is every time I always get so much of that wonderful fried rice that I have a whole other meal waiting for me later on or the next day. The only downside really is it can be very stuffy and also hot but with the renovations made it does have a far more inviting atmosphere. Having read the reviews for the recently opened benihana's and their lack of quality control I choose to continue dining at shoguns instead.

Newly renovated. Looks great. More seating available now. But the service was a tad slow. I think maybe our server was responsible for quite a bit of tables. And my food from the tepan grill was not great, which is unusual. but everything else was good.

The food is great. The atmosphere is what is lacking. There was a light that was glaring right in my eyes. With the darkness of the room, and the bright light directed at the grill and my eyes, I got a migraine. I mentioned it several times and had to change my seat, which confused the chef. My niece and nephew enjoyed the chef and the experience. It needs a revamp, which I think they are in the process of doing.Kid-friendliness: The kids love it, and the chefs are really nice.
