Such great amazingly tasting food even though it's on the expensive side, it is still worth it. Great service and experience with the ambiance and aesthetics of the location. I'll be definitely coming to eat here again with my wife.
Food was amazing. We had the cauliflower appetizer for starters and it was delicious. The kitchen staff were aware that it was going to be shared (2 of us) and they had sliced it in half before serving it. Our entree was sea bass and it was one of the best ever, beatifically prepared and served and there was nothing left on the plate when we were finished. The Creme Brule was also delicious as was the house super Tuscan wine. Our server, Hannah, was terrific. She was pleasant, polit and always there when we needed her.. This is a definite top 5 on our list of dining
We had an incredible experience at Small Barn Old Town Temecula! From the moment we arrived, the warm and inviting atmosphere set the tone for a truly memorable meal. The beautifully restored historic setting and charming outdoor patio with cozy fireside seating make it the perfect spot for brunch, date night, or dinner with friends. The food was exceptional — fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. Every dish we tried was thoughtfully prepared with high-quality ingredients, and the menu strikes a perfect balance between classic favorites and creative globally-inspired fare. The service was friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, which made our evening even better. Whether you're stopping in for weekend brunch or a leisurely dinner, Small Barn is a must-visit in Old Town Temecula. We'll definitely be back! 🍽️✨

The restaurant is cute and quaint. Everyone gave excellent customer service. The food was hot, fresh and delicious. Definitely coming back.
The food, cocktails, and staff was amazing! Selena was absolutely amazing and really made our whole experience!
This was our first time dining here, and unfortunately it was one of the most rushed and uncomfortable dining experiences we’ve had.
We arrived at 6:00 pm and were asked to leave at 6:46 pm, despite ordering two cocktails, an appetizer, entrées, and a bottle of wine. We were very clear with our waitress that we did not want to be rushed and specifically asked her not to rush our entrée. Despite that, our main course arrived about 10 minutes later, leaving us scrambling to eat so the food wouldn’t get cold.
Every 2 minutes someone came by asking if they could clear our plates, which completely killed the experience. What should have been a relaxed evening turned into us feeling pushed out the door.
The most frustrating part is that the food itself was good, but the service ruined it. My husband and I were hoping to enjoy our wine, relax, and have a nice night out. Instead, we spent $300 in under 45 minutes and left feeling angry and disappointed.

We were greeted and asked whether we wanted to be inside or out. Outside is in the Dirt, we both had white shoes on, so inside. A small table with a dying plant, and I ordered two glasses of wine. My Date's glass had Lipstick on it, and it wasn't her shade we sent it back. Ordered the Australian Wegeu tommahawk, some Fingerling potatoes, and asparagus. Got the Steak Med rare . Ordered Ahi Sushi at the recommendation of the server, it came Pink with brown edges, not fresh. The Tommahawk had more Fat than Meat. It was Chewey, not like any Wegeu I have ever had. After 15 minutes of being served the Tommahawk, we got our potatoes. Overcooked and dry, like they have been microwaved a couple of times, 1 out of 5 People come here because they can't get into 1909 or Gambling Cowboy
We had a great time at small Barn. The steak was delicious and perfectly seasoned and cooked. The small barn wine was delicious! The service was excellent, BUT BE CAREFUL WHEN THEY OFFER YOU THE ANNIVERSARY COOKIES, BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT FREE. WE DIDN'T ORDER ANY DESSERT, OUR WAITER CAME OUT WITH TWO DELICIOUS COOKIES, WHILE WISHING US HAPPY ANNIVERSARY. WE WERE CONFUSED, BUT WENT ALONG WITH IT THINKING THAT IT WAS A COMPLEMENTARY.
Had breakfast here a couple weeks ago during a wine tasting event…good darn grub. I just had the classic breakfast (eggs, potatoes, bacon) and it was good. Better than that was some other items our group ordered. The quiche, avocado toast, avocado salmon toast?…all worthy of trying. It’s a cool spot.
