Awesome! Exquisite. Culinary perfection. Unsolicited Celebrity Chef endorsement -- we were amazed by everything! An absolute 'must experience' when in Temecula. I cherish the rare moments when Amy and I discover gems -- exciting, classic, shops and restaurants that take our breath away. Le Coffee Shop is such a place as this. We learned of Le Coffee on Wednesday night -- we were so excited, we barely slept. We read their reviews, looked at their menu, and simply could not wait for morning to arrive so we could meet the French Chefs / owners and dive in on authentic French made croissants, omelets, and time together as a family all while enjoying coffee and great food. Next morning ... we arrived at Le Coffee Shop shortly after opening. Aromas of pastries and breads baking hung heavy in the air. It helped tilt the experience forward with the sights and smells of fresh roasted coffee awaiting us at the coffee bar. I ordered a classic croissant with a coffee, Ames ordered an almond croissant, coffee and we agreed to share a cheddar, bacon and caramelized onion omelet. HF! Absolute and total perfection -- service, quality of food ingredients, aromas, and the flavor profiles -- total French perfection.
We have been going here since it opened. Service has always been not that good, but, it has really gone down hill lately and now the coffee is awful and the women who work there have an attitude when you ask for cream for the coffee. But, the food is great. We just wish the coffee and service was too, especially for the price.
Always impressed, never disappointed. Thank you for bringing a piece of Paris to Temecula. The chef is French trained (certificates on the wall) and everything on their menu is exceptional. Coffees, teas, pastries, eggs, etc. The Parisians care about fine details and eat outside, both are achieved. If you live here or just visiting, add this to a morning soon!
After an over-night stay in Temecula wine country, our group of four wanted something simple before heading home. It being a Monday we were hopeful that despite Le Coffee Shop's popularity, we would be able to find a table. One of the best parts about this tiny establishment is just how uncomplicated it is. Your choices come down to omelets, quiches, crepes and pancakes. All accompanied by your choice of fruit, salad or au gratin potatoes. Add a croissant, morning bun or cinnamon roll and you have a full meal. The next door brewery was not open at 9:00 am which provided additional seating. We quickly staked out table and had our food within minutes. If you are looking for a light, healthy breakfast, this is the place.
My savvy nephew saw the reviews on this small establishment, so we decided to give it a try. The first day, we had croissants, pain chocolate and cafe lattes. The pastries were excellent, but I was disappointed with the beverages. The following week, we decided to have lunch; we were pleasantly surprised at how delicious the food was. I've traveled all over France many times and I am very particular about boulangeries, and Le Coffee Shop redeemed itself on our second visit! We also enjoyed the nice eating area outside the restaurant, even though it was particular cold day in Temecula. Parking can also be a bit challenging around this area. We are planning on having another wonderful lunch soon when I visit Temecula. Le Coffee Shop may become our favorite spot.
Warm coffee cups were the surprise for us. Food was very good and presentation was very pretty. Small seating area.
We found the restaurant in the internet, looking for a place to having breakfast. We returned in our second day in Temecula!! The food was delicious !!!!!!!!!!!! The attention was fast, the staff so friendly, I love that place!
AWESOME ! What an AMAZING place for a breakfast! We found that place this morning, after leaving Pala Casino, and heading home. What a gem! We ordered variety of plates - pancakes, omelets, crepes, coffee, salads and quiche. Everything was so delicious. It was fast, although we were 8 people. The nice French guy (maybe the owner) was so kind and welcoming. Their pastries are to die for. It is a French little coffee shop, which has a few tables outside. We all agreed unanimously - one of the best breakfast we have ever had. When you are in the area, do yourself a favor, and stop by. It can be a perfect start for any day.
