The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf

Walked in this morning 9/22/2025 ,greeted the girl up front “good morning,” with no response back. Appeared annoyed. Store was empty. Waited to order for 2 minutes, no greeting, no hello…. Nothing. When orderring I was rudely interrupted with “HOT or COLD.” I completed my order, tip per usual then sat to wait for my 2 coffees. There were 2 employees then 1 other customer walked in. Approaching the 10 minute mark waiting for my order, I checked the counter and there were 1 large and 1 regular. I asked the barista if the coffees were my order and she mumbled words which I didn’t understand and asked again. She said “yea, I put them in the WRONG cups” then proceeded to pour the regular coffee in the large cup to give to me…. I said I PAID for a LARGE coffee and you poured the regular into the large…., she then said “I know, I’m going to steam some oat milk and ADD it to your coffee.” IF I SIMPLY WANTED TO DRINK OATMILK, I WOULD HAVE ORDERED ACCORDINGLY. Top 3 inches they steamed more oat milk to top off the coffee. When getting in my car the lid was not placed on the cup and HALF of the coffee dumped out!!! My experience was poor….GREET your customers, at the very least acknowledge them, CALL OUT customer orders, enter the correct orders and don’t interrupt your customers when placing an order. BE A WELCOMING ENVIRONMENT!

You can tell the employees dont care by how the drinks come out. Menifee location is way better. Temecula always feels like a waste of money

The woman making the drinks 7-5-25 8 am was so rude to everyone who asked her a question. She ignored customers as well.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE 7/5/25.
The girl making drinks was so disgusting & her attitude created a horrible, chaotic atmosphere. She has dark hair.
She’s screaming out drink orders instead of people’s names, then when you grab the wrong drink she snaps at you & speaks to you like you’re an idiot. I went here at 8:30 am & she ruined my entire Saturday.
Baristas acting like coffees shops shouldn’t be busy??
Food took 25 minutes just to HEAT UP.

Temecula off the 79 HWY Coffee Bean is awesome. Staffs friendly and service never disappoint. Yummy drinks 😋 😊

I was heading to work and stopped by for my morning coffee and ended leaving because they weren’t opened they need to get more reliable people…

I don’t give reviews ever. But the customer service here is terrible. The lady who took our order looked annoyed and we didn’t get called for our drinks. I ordered 2 pure cookies and cream ice blended. Why did they BOTH taste like PUMPKIN?? They either didn’t clean the machine from someone else’s drink before us, or they did it on purpose. You HAVE to tip or they won’t call your name out and they will mess up your drink on purpose. That’s shady.

Got chai latte and hazelnut latte as well as blueberry scone and jalapeño cheese bagel as for a little under $21. Yummy yummy yummy, will be coming back soon

Horrible coffee and baked goods. The coffee tastes burnt. Both the iced and jot versions. The baked goods were mediocre and bland. I would never go there again, not to mention the sizes on the drinks are much smaller than other places

I miss having a Coffee Bean close by. I always loved their iced mocha years ago but I loved chocolate coffee drink this time, delicious. I'll get it again when I'm close by if it's not a seasonal drink.

I am by no means a coffee person. However, the experience I had at this Coffee Bean And Tea Leaf goes beyond what I would imagine one could get from your “standard” coffee shop. By no means is the team at this location standard. I’d say, they set the standard. From the friendliness and attention to detail from Hailey (who took our order), to Connor and Zoe (who seem to take pride and care in crafting their drinks), this team upholds the highest of QA. Despite the busyness, they maintained speed, accuracy, and customer service. Any 1 star reviews seems maybe they were off or harsh critics. 5 stars, 10/10 recommend.
