Went for a birthday dinner and the food was delicious! We ordered the roasted artichoke to start and loved it. The Gambler, medium rare, w/ cowboy potatoes, and a traditional ribeye, medium rare, with veggies. Both cooked perfectly, tasted excellent. They brought out a chocolate mousse for the birthday person, and it was a nice discreet delivery, none of the singing and clapping. Our server was the sweetest lady, awesome attention and service. We ordered a crème brûlée and it honestly was not the best. Too scrambled, sugar topping was soft and chewy, almost like it was reheated. We expressed our disappointment (it's our favorite dessert) and they removed the charge. Five stars for this place! They were very good all around; we'd go back.
Did not know they had breakfast/brunch! It was delicious, service was exceptional, and we will for sure return!
Love this place. Always great food! Brunch or dinner, it is a fire sure stop when we are in Temecula ❤️
It was a wonderful place to relax with good food and service. Will recommend this place to everyone. Can't wait to come back.
The ribeye steak was the toughest I've eaten in years, the artichoke appetizer was a waste of money and the service wasn't excellent. The path of travel past our table led to a busier part of the restaurant and there was a continuous parade of diners and staff going past our table. Because of the high cost we're unlikely to eat there again.
We've eaten here once before, had an appetizer(burrata and cherry tomatoes)and French onion soup which were really good. On this occasion we had a full meal along with the same appetizers. The fish n chip special...DISGUSTING! With every bite I got a mouth full of old grease accompanied by mushy, smelly fish. My guests got hamburgers....tasteless meat in between a soggy old bun...REPULSIVE! The fries were saturated with fish n chips grease. ALL the food comes from a bag the heated up and put together by lazy, inept, careless kitchen staff. AVOID THIS PLACE!
Awesome! No words to describe grilled cheese stuffed poblano over the ribeye with Serrano cream sauce. Stunning doesn't cover it. Cowboy potatoes and corn were great too. Don't pass on the flavorful prime rib either. Definitely somewhere to come back to
Incredibly good steak and mashed potatoes. Excellent whisky "Old Fashioned". Terriffic desert! Will definiitely put at top of our list for exceptional dinners out!
We went to the Gambling Cowboy for our 30th Anniversary. Our waitress was odd....the steak had to be sent back and the bus boy who brought out our food never brought us the ranch we requested. Was not impressed at all. The steak dinners come with corn and squash , I cannot have corn so I asked what I could sub for the corn and the only suggestion was extra squash... just odd sides to offer with steak. The bread was good and the building is cozy....other than that I will not be back. A very disappointing experience.
Hearty, fresh ingredients, excellent service. Went there for the first time and will be back. Great location, plenty of options, and generous portions.

The look was amazing and service was ok however we were waiting forever for our waitress. To be fair it was busy and a Friday. The food was good but the price was too much and not worth the price. There was a live band and we could barely talk to each other and one of my group members didn't like it. The wine was amazing! Over all if you like quiet time to listen to music and to chill and eat a nice fancy dinner for a high price with a great glass of wine then this is the place for you!
Price point accurate for quality of food. The ambience definitely leads to be given some attention. It's very confusing on it being a steakhouse. It feels more like you're at grandma‘s kitchen with a a lot of odds and ends, and very confusing theme of what the restaurant really is. Almost has l a thrift store vibe sad to say. the decor can definitely be sent out looks very cluttered and claustrophobic while dining.
Best experience!! The service is stellar. The food, absolutely above par and drinks are spectacular. What is the delay? Make a reservation and get on in Ya'll! This western vibe chophouse will leave you kicking up your boots to return again asap! Easy five stars
I have been in Temecula many times in the past and have never gotten to get in to the gambling cowboy restaurant. I had heard from friends and family. It was fantastic. But I needed to see for myself. We got there a bit early and had cocktails at the bar While waiting for our table about a half an hour or so the service was good. The food was delicious. I had steak and lobster and I had a salad with jalapeño goat cheese. I also had an appetizer that were scallops wrapped in bacon and they were amazing. We also had the seared Borada with tomatoes and my wife loved them.
The calamari was over breaded and overcooked. The croutons in the Caesar salad were so are could not bite into. The bacon wrapped scallops were not seared and were so salty could not be eaten. The prime NY steak was blue rare instead of medium rare. The Doffo Syrah had been open too many days and was oxidized. We frequently eat at your restaurant but this was not enjoyable at all for 270.00
