I ordered the grandmas gumbo. Told them that I don’t want scallops. I paid 20 dollars for a bowl of ocra. When I called and spoke to the owner he said I put 3 shrimp, 3 sausages, and 3 pieces of chicken…. Like ok??? That’s it for 20 bucks?!? Taste was mid. And I will never get the gumbo here again.
I wasn't sure about ordering from a take out kitchen like this, but I'm glad I did. The food is fantastic.As a note: to order take out you need to go to the website to choose what you want and pay, then when you arrive at the place you call the number on the sign out front. I ordered the the gumbo today and the greens it was so amazing! My friend had the jambalaya and Mac and cheese she was really impressed by the flavors how bomb they were. The people were also very polite and friendly.I recommend this spot highly!
