Marie La Vey… Double Double Toil and trouble, fire burn and cauldron bubble, eye of newt and tongue of dog, wings of a bat and wool of sheep, by the kicking of my butt instead wake you from your sleep.
Food is amazing here. Have eaten a majority of it. No cash accepted. Gumbo filled with big chunks of sausage and chicken. Same with jambalaya. Sides were all delicious. They are in the plaza next to Little Caesars since late 2024. Older reviews are irrelevant. I highly recommend. Better than other Cajun/New Orleans restaurants in San Diego. Trust me. I’ve had it all.
We ordered for to go. Chef was communicative about the wait, and it was really fantastic. Everybody was really pleased. Highlights were the seafood gumbo, fried shrimp, red beans and rice and the okra.. And of course the po boy. Could use a lil more ventilation inside.
