In August of 2021 my fiancé in I stopped in this establishment for lunch after touring wedding venues. My fiancé and I both ordered turkey sandwiches. The female owner of the deli recommended my fiancé not order turkey because of some ingredient. After being puzzled and inquiring why the female owner stated "because you are pregnant." Both of our jaws dropped to the floor. My fiancé is not pregnant. She is a very fit 25 year old. This has never happened to us and is completely inappropriate. The owner then, to our amazement, followed up her train of thought with "well it's because you are glowing and I thought I saw a bump." I do not recommend anyone eating at this establishment owned by someone who could act so rude. She didn't offer an apology or anything.

I believe this deli has closed. We looked all over last week and only found a different deli in that area. I tried to post this as a question so I wouldn't need to give a star rating but Yelp didn't allow it and told me to post as a review. However note that I wasn't able to eat there - it seems to be closed.

Oh my was that was a yummy lunch. It is so refreshing to have sandwich choices that don't sound like the choices on everyone else's menus. The sandwiches were creative and super tasty. Don't be afraid, the boring sandwiches will still be at the other delis. Take the leap out of the norm, and let your tastebuds explore the possibilities.

Absolutely delicious sandwich shop!! We happened upon it when we were visiting the farmers market. Our family ordered several Turkey Avocado and Farm sandwiches. Everyone was greatly impressed! Delicious! Large shareable portions. Another family member got the BLTA and loved it! The Italian was also a hit! (Large family!) Highly Recommend A Visit!!

The new owners are TERRIBLE! The way they treat their employees and some customers is absolutely appalling. Do not support this business!

Such a great little spot! Met the new owners and they're great people. Everything we had was delicious. Would definitely go back if we lived in Temecula.

Sometimes I want to have a sandwich like the one's I make at home, but I don't want to buy everything to make it, or I'm on the go working. I don't really like the big sandwich chains all that much because the quality seems to be lacking. We found this place, saw the reviews, & decided to give it a shot! My husband got a turkey sandwich, and I had the Willy B.L.A.T. ( I thinkkkk that was the name) The Willy is so good ( hey! Mind outta the gutter!) Seriously though. Simple. Delicious. Fast.

Nice clean restaraunt, excellent customer service, the sandwich was fresh and pretty good, but nothing special. And for 10 bucks it was quite a small serving of meat. Could be a 5 star with a bigger serving or a smaller price.

Great little spot. Staff is super friendly. We shared a combo meal and it was wonderful. Located right off the main drag in Old Town, right across from farmers market.

Just happened to drop into The Happy Belly Deli after a few hours shopping at the farmers market. Great "mom and pop" shop serving up great sandwiches, potato salad and friendly service. We ordered the Happy Italian sandwich with a side of potato salad. One of the best Italian sandwiches I've ever had, so definitely stop in and try the food...you won't be disappointed.

On our way back from the farmers market, we stumbled upon The Happy Belly Deli (a mom and pop sandwich shop). Friendly owners, great customer service rapport and the sandwich was one of the best we've had in a very long time. We chose to split the Happy Italian sandwich (salami, pepperoni, hot capicola, mortadella, black olives, provolone, dijonaise, happy sauce, arugula, pickle chips, roasted red peppers, and pepperocini on a hoagie bun) with a side of homemade potato salad. Again, a delicious sandwich and a place you should definitely visit.

I ordered 3 sandwiches and all three of them were made wrong. Huge disappointment as I have been wanting to try this place for a while now. Maybe if the girl on the phone read us back the order instead of talking to herself I wouldn't have had to throw away all 3 sandwiches....

Nice little place. Clean with friendly knowledgeable staff. There are a couple tables inside and outside and they are well spaced apart. I had the Ruben which on the menu says it's with corned beef but they must have run out cuz it was with pastrami. I felt the sandwich was a little on the small side but the pastrami and the sauerkraut were flavorful but I could not taste the mustard. A very small amount of cold baked beans was on the side. The beans were tasty but it would have been nice to have a slightly larger amount. Though I thought the sandwich was on the small side and could have used a bit more of the pastrami, I thought it was good and worth going back to try something else. The Happy Belly Deli is off the main street of Old Town Temecula but is well worth walking up the block to the east across from where the farmers market is to try their food. The 4 Stars is only because of the small size (2oz) of beans and what I felt was a small amount a filler in the sandwich.

Very good. Always is. The young lady today 4/28 was working her tail off and as pleasant as could be.

Super cute little spot! I wasn't a huge fan of the sandwich but it's easy and they are very nice!
