No wonder this horrible restaurant is closed. My family and I went there for my sisters 30th birthday. We made a reservation and were seated right away, got our drinks, and ordered our food. Our food just simply NEVER came out. Every other table was already eating (not a busy night) but we were sitting there for an hour and a half waiting for our food until my dad asked the server if our food would be out soon. She gave some story about the dough not rising for the pizza before she told us that THEY HADN'T EVEN STARTED OUR ORDER. They didn't even tell us why, they just had us wait there for food they weren't even making. It was completely unprofessional and a total waste of our time.

Location - In Old Town Temecula hidden near the City Hall parking structure. Parking - Few available spots on the st, but if full you might need to use the structure. Venue - Very nice, clean, modern restaurant. Didn't expect it for a Temecula Old Town place. Food - Very fresh, authentic, good portions on the food here. Drinks - Well made drinks by mixologists here, prices a bit high for being Old Town, but for type of restaurant seems soso. Service - Great service from everyone doing a great job at the role they have. Overall great place amd would highly recommend it.

Without informing us - this was the last night at the Nightingale and was due to close the next day! Therefore most of the Menu was either off or replaced with something else. The servers were not at all motivated to explain the changes. Surprisingly the limited menu was fairly well done but we left disappointed.

Went to Temecula to celebrate my sister's birthday and was looking for a nice restaurant to have dinner. Made reservations here and had an okay experience. Prosciutto (4/5): served with bread and cheese, can't go wrong with that. Clams (3/5): broth could use more flavor but it was good. Shrimp Pizza (2/5): really salty crust. Spaghetti and Meatballs (4/5): surprised that the most basic entree ended up being the best. Squid Ink Pasta (1/5): not sure what other reviews are talking about because we all agreed the flavor was weird and not appetizing at all. Overall cute restaurant, but food and customer service could use some improvement. Also noticed we were seated in a section of the restaurant where other Asian diners were which was interesting.

Really wanted to like this place but the service....... don't even get me started. We arrived around 6:30pm to a half full bar, the bartender said he was finishing up 1 drink and then he would be over to take our order. Cut to 35 mins later after he cleaned 5 tables no one was waiting for and had a conversation about his day with another co worker in the corner, he finally came back without even acknowledging the wait. Another guy walked up next to us 10 minutes after we sat down and he served him within seconds of sitting down..... Really?????? Not to mention we were given happy hour menus then were told sorry it was too late. Seriously??... We were ready after 5 minutes and you took 35 to come back????? How is that our fault???? After taking our order we never were refilled on drinks, food took forever, came out 5 minutes apart, and when he finally acknowledged my drink was low; proceeded to ignore my wife's drink and never came back to deliver her a new drink. Not to mention the other bartender Mario who thought he was Tom Cruise in Cocktail, spashing dirty dish water all over us and our food, without even acknowledging he was doing it. No Manager in sight, night felt hopeless and utterly a waste. Completely ruined the night. Highly recommend visiting somewhere else. Dont get me wrong the food was good. But the service was so horrible, wish I could have left no tip, but didn't want to stoop to their level.

We very much enjoyed our dinner at The Nightingale. The menu was imaginative, the food was excellent, and the service was also very good. If I had to come up with a wish on how they could be made even better, it would be that they increase their portion sizes. That said, I am a big eater! Anyway, we all loved it and thought we had just found a new favorite dining spot, and then, sadly, we were told that they were closing down and their space would be taken over by a sister company restaurant, effective 1/1/2020! Darn it! We love this place and think it is a crime that it will be gone soon! So if you read this before the end of the year, make sure you go now to experience its greatness while you can!

Went to celebrate a birthday. I've never been a fan of this place. Very noisy. They are going out of business. Doesn't surprise me. A lower level restaurant is moving into the place.

New place in Temecula for mostly Italian food. We went at Christmas time, with a reservation, and were seated promptly. Food took a while, but was hot and excellent. Highly recommended if you don't mind an energetic, somewhat noisy environment. We'll be back.

The only reason I would not recommend Nightingale is because you are closing! I wish that when Goat and Vine takes over you would use Nightingale's menu as the dinner menu. Both restaurants are terrific but we come for the pasta which in not on Goat's menu. I am very sorry to see Nightingale close.

The food and service was great. We had steamed clams as a starter. My wife had the short rib parppardelle and I had the cioppino. Unfortunately the restaurant is closing the end of December 2019 as it's sister Goat and Vine will move into the space.

Neighbors bought us a gift card for Nightingale and unfortunately, it took us a long time to make use of it. We finally went last night and everything we ordered was delicious - short rib pappardelle, spaghetti with meatballs, cioppino, and hummus/pita. It's sad because the place is closing down but the positive is that the owner is the same owner of Goat & Vine (This location will be another Goat and vine?) and we haven't tried that yet so the food must be good. For the remainder of the time that it will be open, I highly recommend it.

I heard their sister restaurant Goat & Vine is moving here. Nightingale has great good, great staff. Hopefully they go with the change.

Very unassuming location. Ground floor of a tall, dark building located downtown Temecula. The interior is very bright and white with gold accents. Totally my style. Staff: Hostess was very sweet and was able to accommodate us even thought we didn't have any reservations. Our waitress was just fabulous. Very attentive and took really good care of us. Short Rib Pappardelle: First taste and you can tell that they make their own pasta here. Portion wise was on the smaller size but then again I was just really hungry. Seared Porkchop: Great amount of seasoning and fat on the porkchop. Big fan of the cauliflower puree. It honestly could have fulled me for potatoes since it was so silky smooth and buttery. Pana Cota: Hands down the best Pana Cota I've ever had. It didn't seem like much but the almond-like cookie crisps were delicate and crunchy. The honey and orange zest on top of the pana cota was magical. Drinks: I honestly can't remember the name of the drinks and it seems like they change their drink menu quite frequently. You really can't go wrong though. We ordered 2 cocktails and the flavors were so refreshing with the right amount of kick from the spirit.
