Umi Sushi and Oyster Bar

I was at Pechanga for some conferences, I did not see this restaurant earlier because I was only playing at the casino after hours and I was distracted, until the last day that I was staying there, (after losing and winning at the casino hahaha) I happened to go back and see this medium-sized gem restaurant, it is stunning the cleanliness and the decor is on point. After we waited around 7 minutes to be seated our waiter was polite and knowledgeable on every question about the menu, The pictures I posted are for his recommendation which we kindly followed after some talk with him, From the appetizers to the main dishes everything felt original, You can see in the middle of the restaurant how the prepare your order, the raw tuna was amazingly fresh and tender, like butter melting in your mouth, the same with the wagyu beef, even the experience to cook it was nice, it was our first time doing this, the pork was savory, tender and juicy they were pair with some sweet potatoes fries with honey glaze dip. If I return to Pechanga Resort I definitely would eat more than once there!!! Ohhh! And please try the sake it had a taste like melon it was refreshing but be careful with the alcohol percentage haha.

Bryce our server was awesome; everyone one of his recommendations were on-point. Compliments to the sushi chef; every order was unique and delicious. Bartender is deserving of a raise too! Thoroughly enjoyed the Japanese Old Fashioned's. Thank you.

Delicious food! Amazing service!

Awesome service! My eyes got a little bigger then my stomach. Very delicious and extremly attentive staff. Tasted like japan. Tried the Temecula roll which is pretty much a Califora roll with spicy tuna and tons of sauce so american sushi. The macha mille crepe cake was 100 percent japan green tea cake. Will be back!

The sushi rolls were delicious! Don’t know why I was surprised about this maybe because it was a casino? Like they were so good.

Food, service, ambiance and everything was amazing. Highly recommend Umi and highly recommend Pechanga as the best casino in all of Southern California.

Excellent food fresh rice and seafood definitely one of the best in town if you like sushi you must come to this establishment , service is excellent and atmosphere is upscale.

Great food and great service. Ray is the manager I see most often and he is always attentive and friendly.

The only reason I did not give this a 5 star is that their Champagne/Sparkling wine offering is too limited (2 options when I was there last) and there is nothing from our local wineries. The first few times I went there, they had a much better selection and as a person that enjoys her bubbles, I would always order a bottle for the table. Now with their offerings, I only order a glass of wine.

Umi is a hidden gem in Temecula seriously.

Food : By far this place has one of the best fried shishito peppers I have ever had! I actually went back twice just for that! It is a must! My husband ordered a steak and lobster.I know it’s a sushi place but as a sushi lover like I am but he doesn’t eat anything raw,So I’m glad they have this option for him and it was great as well! All sushi and sashimi are fresh and delicious!
Service : So far we have had a great servers and not disappointed.They always came by and make sure everything was good,Never have to ask for anything twice.
Vibe : Modern,Light and bright! You can sit at the bar,Gambling,Have some drinks with food as well.
Do we wanna come back for the third fourth or fifth time?! Heck yes!

Still #1 on my list, when I think of sushi always Umi in Pechanga, fresh, tastes always better each and every time. And the service always 💯.
