I had been wanting to try Bafang Dumplings in Taiwan for a long time but never got the chance to. Finally got to try it in LA for the first time. The potstickers themselves are amazing -- it reminded me of some famous potstickers I had elsewhere before. The potsticker skin was thin and nicely crisped on the bottom, and the filling was tasty. The only reason I docked a star is because the order took 20+ minutes to be ready. I'm glad the potstickers are prepped fresh but the wait time seems a bit too long given they have continuous orders coming in at peak lunch hours.Plenty of parking in the parking lot and decent amount of seating inside.

Store staff made us wait while our order was ready and didnt notify us to pick it up. When we arrived he was still slow and inattentive. We waited 20 mins for a noodle and a mini soup. When we got the noodle its all dried and tangled up, not edible.

Food is similar to other Bafang locations but I would highly suggest finding another location. The service at this Temple City location is slower than the Zootopia DMV… I ordered a simple #1 combo of potstickers with a lemon iced tea and it takes them 45 minutes to make it and the employees in the kitchen show a complete lack of urgency. Completely unacceptable for this kind of store.

I’ve never seen a slower potsticker service. Prepare to wait 20min+ just for some potstickers even if you come at like 2pm…

Bafang Dumpling Temple City is a clean and cozy pay-at-the-counter Taiwanese specialty shop offering convenient takeout, delivery and dine-in options. Take advantage of the free and convenient parking spots and the opportunity to check out the cute shops located in the same shopping plaza while you wait for your order here. Bafang Dumpling offers an extensive menu from Taiwanese beef soup, milk tea, savory snacks, house specials and specialty dumplings. I'm a huge dumpling fan. I like how many different cultures feature a tasty treat like a savory present inside of a dough wrapping. Gyoza, potsticker, baraka, samosa, empanada, pelmini, meat pie, ravioli, perogie and many other delicious handmade dumplings help bring families together. I ordered the Bafang signature dumplings pan fried with chili sauce on the side and a couple dozen frozen dumplings to take home. They were great! I tried cooking Bafang signature dumplings at home a few different ways, first by following the helpful instructions. My favorite cooking method was to pair Bafang Taiwanese dumplings with a few international dipping sauces and sidekicks from my local grocery store. Bafang signature dumplings are a great addition to soups as well. Great service, food and flavor. Five Star everything. Taiwanese dumplings fans, I posted a Taiwanese flag emoji alongside a positive poem about tolerance and a slow motion wok toss from a cool ramen joint. I was prompted to delete the post and shadow banned till I deleted it sadly. I hope Yelp is a place where we can celebrate our love for Taiwanese dumplings and each other forever. *********************

TLDR: Inexpensive place to get your potsticker and noodle craving! Definitely get their famous potstickers My partner and I came here for a quick dinner after a long day of work due to a noodle craving. We came on a Friday night around 9pm and got our food in 10 minutes. You can order via kiosk There's a station to get sauces such as garlic, soy sauce, vinegar, sesame oil, etc that pair well with their famous potstickers. With that said - everything was delicious, especially their potstickers!! Their noodles were also very tasty and loved the signature sauce. Portions were actually huge and we left full and happy! FOOD: Old fashioned noodles Potstickers Signature noodles Hot and sour soup

I love pan fried dumplings and Bafang certainly knows how to make them. Super tasty. Piping hot, crispy skin and juicy filling. Definitely recommend!

If you're homesick and craving your average tasting Taiwanese dumpling. This is your place to go. We ordered the pot sticker combination and the dried noodle with fried pork combo, it came out to 30 dollars. The dumpling and the fried pork taste just like how I remembers it. Not too salty or overly seasoned. The store was nice and clean and we received a very warm welcome from the cashier. Think of this franchise as a Yoshinoya of Taiwan, it's great to see a Taiwanese business thrive overseas. We support you.

Over the weekend I picked up potstickers + noodle combos I ordered online because their service can be on the slower side on busy weekends. There was an error and they accidentally gave me 2 signature noodles which is on the spicy side so my kids couldn't eat it. I went back and they immediately fixed the problem AND threw in a free bag of frozen dumplings! I was very impressed with their exceptional customer service...in previous visits as well. Happy to continue my support for BaFang!

Had this chain in Taiwan and loved the dumplings so had to try it out when they opened up in the US. The quality and taste is just the same as the one I had in Taipei. The pan fried dumplings are a must get. They do a great job of getting the bottoms nice and crispy without the dumplings being super oily. I love getting the hot and sour soup as a combo with the pan fried dumplings. At $12 for the combo, it's a really good deal. The dry noodles are pretty good and would recommend. Very quick and efficient service and they have online ordering now.

Ordered the Number 1 combo which has 12 potsticker dumplings and choice of hot and sour soup, tea, or x. I chose the hot and sour soup which was very refreshing and served hot. There is a sauce area to the side if you would like to make your own sauce out of vinegar, sesame oil, soy sauce, and garlic. And complimentary water cups too. Not a lot of interior seating but most people seem to be ordering to go. Parking in this plaza can get very busy above ground so enter the underground parking for more spots though they are a bit tight.Parking: Above ground and below ground parking. Skip above ground and go through the garage. Be careful, the spaces here are tight.

Super nice and clean spot but wow super slow service. Waited 40 minutes for two orders, I do not want to do that again. Food was not good enough to justify that, we have plenty of good dumpling eateries in this area. I would suggest this location look at ways to be more efficient.

I have been to this location multiple times and the food is consistent. My personal favorite is the corn soup and the pan fried kimchi dumplings. The combos are at a fair value and I definitely gravitate going here for my cravings. Parking sometimes is a little difficult.

Their famous potstickers are tasty. Not too salty and the filling is nicely proportioned with chicken, vegetables and seasoning. We ordered two combos. Number 2- potstickers with wonton soup. Number 14- potstickers with dry spicy noodle. The wonton soup is felt it was a little salty with the soup. Wonton is a little mushy. The spicy wonton is better because the soup version is making it further mushy. The spicy noodle is very good. Noodle has a good bite. Not really that spicy but still has a good kick. Both combos are quite generous so we have a little bit of leftover. My biggest complain is the amount of seats are so limited. We were too hungry to wait for a table or drive all the way home to eat. So we are in our car.
