The prime angus rib was insanely good
As someone who grew up in Beijing/Hong Kong, I feel like the food here is a bit overrated. Everything tastes like a toned down version for the local audience, but you know Beijing cuisine is known for tasting strong (重口味) right? Ambience is good though, and Meet Fresh is right next door for post dinner dessert. Make sure you book before coming, walk in can take 2 hours.

One of my favorite Chinese restaurants in LA. Go there with a group so you can try more items.

We had an amazing Chinese New Year lunch at Bistro Na’s. The dishes were truly authentic, as someone who grew up with traditional Chinese cuisine, the flavors and quality were outstanding.
I also want to sincerely thank Daiano for his exceptional kindness. I have chronic eczema and was already experiencing symptoms before arriving. When he learned I needed a specific OTC medication, he went out of his way to purchase it for me during our lunch. Such a warm and generous gesture, especially on a special day like Chinese New Year :)

Upscale Chinese cuisine. You pay for the ambiance and service. Taste is above average with some nice fashion dishes.

Amazing service and the food was delicious. I felt like like I was in a different country. Can't wait to go back again .
Every dish is good. From the seasonal chicken /fish maw pot, famous shrimp and braised pork belly to the dessert red bean bun, walnut soup. Very nice ambiance and service! Will return.

We had to wait for 45 minutes for our table even though I made a reservation at 6:30pm; we checked in at 6:15pm and was not seated until 7pm. I could understand if we had to wait for 15 minutes but not for this long. We saw numerous people came in after us and were seated before us. I complained to the host and was told they were very busy due to Valentine occasion. Food and service was good, however the price for the lobster dish was rather high; it came out to $224.00 for a 4 lbs. lobster ($56/lb.)
One of the best Chinese restaurants I’ve ever been to. I really liked the salty duck egg crabs. I haven’t had crabs that fresh in a while. The steak with the bone dish was really tasty as well. Not sure what they marinated the steak in. It’s not salty at all but still very flavorful.
I appreciate that there is no MSG in there food. I tend to have a sensitive digestive system but my stomach feels really good after eating there.
The Na tofu is really good too. Lots of Guoqi.
It looks like they have lots of customers and is really busy.

Definitely get the pear soup!
Crispy shrimps were surprisingly good even for someone like me who doesn't like sweet food.

Overall ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5)
Environment ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
An elegant and refined Chinese restaurant. The space feels polished and intentional, striking a great balance between upscale and comfortable.
Food ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
• Crispy Shrimp ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Excellent. Full of flavor with a satisfying texture—rich, bold, and very well executed.
• Tofu Dish ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
A pleasant surprise. I initially thought it was pumpkin, but it turned out to be tamago tofu coated with salted egg yolk crumbs. Savory, fragrant, and beautifully balanced.
• Osmanthus Lotus Root ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆
Nicely done, but slightly less sweet than I would prefer—as a Shanghainese diner, I expected a bit more sweetness.
• Jing Jiang Rou Si with Pancakes ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Very good and authentic. Properly seasoned and executed the way it should be.
• Chive Pockets ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆
Solid overall, though the egg pieces were cut a bit too large for my taste (a minor, picky detail).
• Dim Sum Platter ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Outstanding. Everything was delicious and immediately reminded me of Siji Minfu in Beijing.
This place genuinely operates at a mainland China level in terms of flavor and execution.
Overall Thoughts
From technique to flavor, this restaurant delivers consistently at a very high standard. It’s rare to find a Chinese restaurant abroad that feels this authentic and well executed across so many dishes.
Will I come back?
Absolutely.

Restaurant is pretty. Dishes and plating are beautiful, tasteful and unique - each presentation like a work of art. Service is attentive. But come for the food. It's delicious. Meticulous attention to detail - taste, texture, look. Everything's great. We did splurge and preordered the Peking duck (worth every bit of the $100+ price). We also got the whole black cod with spicy sauce (with a little bit pork added). Can't describe how amazing that tasted. I don't know how they lost their Michelin star. We've been to many starred restaurants around the world and this one can stand up to all of them. Chef and management should be very proud.
Great experience! Food was amazing! Food presentation was excellent! Service was excellent! We also had the shrimp fried rice, bok choy w/mushrooms and caramelized pecans that were really good (not pictured).
