Ordered Golden Deli online in advance and the com tam with 3 proteins was prepared at my expected time and was delicious. I was barely able to finish it all in one sitting. The fish oil sauce made the meal that much better. Their pho is also very savory and slow cooked.
Had a rough time in the back parking lot though because I went the wrong way and it’s a one-way only directional vector that you can take.

Had lunch around 11:30am on Thursday at the Temple City location. We lucked out and got the last two parking space out back. The place had plenty of available seating. We each ordered dry rice vermicelli (bun); perfectly seasoned. I had mine with just the beef - very tender and flavorful. My friend had her with fish cake or shrimp cake? I had Thai ice tea, she had some other tea. Very clean - didn't use the restroom. Service was fast and enjoyed the ambience for easy conversation....

One of our all time favorite places in the SGV and we’ll just in general for Vietnamese food. Everything is delicious from the smoothies (durian is our fave) and coffee to the bahn mi, pho and vermicelli. Another favorite not pictured is the chicken curry with baguette 🥖
