Small but mighty. Good food and ordered the beef noodle soup, sesame pancake, beef pancake, lamb hot pot and lamb flat noodles. They also sell frozen dumplings with batch of 50 each bag. Highly recommended.

Massive production of dumplings. This place makes the best dumplings I have ever eaten. The restaurant is small. I believe they make dumplings for other restaurants and stores. The have about a dozen people making very large amounts of fresh dumplings and you can see them in action through a glass window. When I come here I tend to over eat! Just too good....

Arrived at 2:50 in the afternoon, it happened to be open, and ordered mutton soup, pickled cabbage beef noodles, shaved noodles ?and? 9 Go back and clean up, yes! 1N...Sleep well,...? ,yes,? ! Good(?) package. ! ,9The taste is great, the homemade noodles and the mutton soup don't have any fishy smell, it's no worse than the domestic ones, and there's more meat. . . .twenty one

My wife and I were in the neighborhood and based on reviews decided to try Northern Cafe for lunch. We were a bit disappointed, though in retrospect I can't help thinking that we misordered. Or perhaps didn't understand the Chinese Cuisine we were getting ourselves into. The Juicy Pork dumplings were very, very good. Not really a soup dumpling but just "Juicy" and this allowed the wrapper to be much thinner and tastier. They were the star of our meal. The Green Onion pancake was really well prepared with good mouth feel and flavor...but had no where near enough Green Onions inside. But most disappointing was the Beef Noodle Soup. The noodles were wonderful with great taste and 'tooth'...but the broth was barely discernable from water. By adding a good bit of hot oil, vinegar, and soy were were able to make a go of it...the noodles made it worthwhile...but it just wasn't that pleasant. The atmosphere was 'Contemporary Asian' with lots of wood and the service reasonable though not exemplary. They have walled off 'party rooms' on both sides that would be great if you had a large group celebrating a special occasion. As I said, they obviously know what they are doing in the kitchen...we just didn't understand it. If we are again in the neighborhood, I would definitely return...and have a conversation with the waiter before ordering.

Prices seem on the high side. Ordered the typical string beans, egg plant, scallion pancakes, xlb, cumin lamb, chicken, tofu, beef soup noodles, spicy fish, beef rolls and rice cakes. Cumin lamb and beef rolls were probably the best. The chicken was on the dry side. The pancake was thin so a bit burnt on one side.

I just got their dan dan mian, and i gotta say it's one of the best and most balanced in our areaI ordered to go, so i'm not sure if the sit down experience is different but here's what i likedthey packed everything together, the portion looks small, but that's deceiving, because there's a good portion of medium-thick noodle and the sesame will def fill you upthe sesame sauce and what i assumed to be concentrated broth were separatedthere was chili oil, ground pork, and some green onions on top. this is only a mildly spicy dish, i believe children could eat it with no issue. So do not expect very spicy or numbing spicy. so the mild spice level was perfect for meafter mixing, i was amazed by the tastethe balance of sesame, salty, slightly past al dente medium thick noodles was the perfect combo and exactly what i was looking for in a dan dan mianthe price, at $11.99+tax seemed a bit high for just noodles n pork, but the taste and noodle portion more than made up for itit's too bad that killer noodle is gone, the northern cafe in alhambra shuttered, and the las tunas northern cafe no longer serves their dan dan mian. those 2 were the top hitters, but they are gone nowits not as sesame heavy as dai ho or mr dragon noodle houseit's not as dry as chongqing special noodleit's not as spicy or heavy as mian or noodle harmonyand best of all to me, is that their noodle is the thickest and most well cooked of all of these places, which gives it the winthe only place that comes close is mr dragon noodle house but they are much heavier on sesameplease give try this place if you like mild spicy dan dan mian, you won't regret it!

A shop that has been there for a while, the noodles are always chewy and flavorful. They open late, so they have a big customer base at night. Came as a family and ordered 2 noodles, 3 type cold dish, dumplings and a braised chicken dish. Depends on your palate, but I didn't like the white jelly for the cold dish, but the rest was good and chewy. For the noodles, I much preferred the thick flat noodles cause you can get more flavor from the soup. Def come for a late night food item. Seating wise, it's open and not very private

Today I found a restaurant that I often pass by but have never been in. The dumplings ? taste quite good, the ingredients in the “Lamb Lamb Tripe pot ”are super fresh, I have tried the Lamb soup in many stores, but the lamb liver in other stores is a bit yellow And it tastes a bit bitter. The lamb liver in this store is the color that lamb liver should have, because it is very fresh. Friends who like lamb soup and dumplings can come and try it. Recommended?

Love this place, everyone is nice. They really do have such great service, and their food is actually delicious one of the best Orange Chicken we have ever tried. Sorry but orange is way better than panda. More crunchy, really good flavor. Thank you for such a good service.

COVID-19: Social distancing is not enforced at this establishment. Some of the staff wears a mask. All customers are not expected to wear a mask. It's optional now. Some of the staff also wears gloves. There are some hand sanitizers available for customers to use. This place is available for take outs and has some indoor seating available with no limited capacity. They are not sanitizing in between customers. COVID-19 Vaccination Proof: This establishment currently does not require proof of vaccination. While I was grabbing my food from this establishment several days ago, I asked if they had any special offers and they weren't offering any at the moment. They currently don't have happy hour. They also do not allow pets in their establishment UNLESS it's a service animal. Parking: The parking lot for this establishment is of decent size. They share the lot with a supermarket, so if you come here during the weekend, parking might be a problem. Food: I ordered the beef rolls. The beef rolls consist of thinly sliced, aromatic braised beef, wrapped with sweet hoisin sauce, fresh scallion, and cucumber in a crispy, flaky scallion pancake. So bomb! I was craving this the other day, and this just hit the spot. So perfect. Staff: The staff here are very fast, friendly, and efficient. They accept both cash and credit cards. There is a $20 credit card minimum.
