As far as authentic goes this place hits the mark and taste is not too shabby either. One of the better tasting places and has the atmosphere to match as well. Pleasantly surprised and was worth the wait in line for.
So, we finally checked out this spot in Temple City called Red 99 Grille Bistro. It's one of those places that's been hiding in plain sight. I've been to the area plenty of times—there's even a buffet right next door that I’ve hit up before—and somehow I never noticed this restaurant. Somebody in our group recommended it, said it was really good, so we figured, why not?

Pretty good! There was a crowd when I went so be prepared to wait, even if you made a reservation…. The food was good and rice is unlimited and free, that’s hard to find in the US. A lot of customers here like to wear red, so watch out for that or join the crowd! The AC is pretty sucky in the restaurant but the restrooms have a pleasant chill in them
