On August 1st, after having Korean BBQ, we still weren’t satisfied and decided to come here for a few more bites and to chat a bit. While my husband went to the restroom, he got hit by the door because there was no light — this was already the third time someone in our group got hit due to the lack of lighting. If his eyebrow hadn’t swollen up, we wouldn’t have even said anything.

But when we brought it up, the staff told us there was no manager or supervisor on site. After I insisted, they finally gave us two phone numbers — supposedly for the managers, Jonny and Jenny — but no one has ever answered those calls. It’s like those numbers don’t even belong to real people.

We’ve been to this place many times before, but this kind of attitude is just unacceptable. It’s not like there’s a shortage of oysters in Los Angeles.

It's delicious. Great service,My wife and kids love this place very much, but it's a little expensive. Other than that, everything is great.

Pan roast lacked flavor and very little to no crab, despite what is advertised in the ingredients. In comparison, the Boiler Steam Kettle in Chino tastes much better. To top it off, when they bring you the bill with the automatic tip%, they base the tip % of the total bill + tax, which is a scam. Tip % should be off the pre-tax amount, not post-tax.

We had a fantastic experience at The Dive Oyster Bar in Temple City! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome, and the food absolutely exceeded our expectations.

We ordered the House Pan Roast and the Jambalaya, and both dishes were incredible. The pan roast was rich, creamy, and full of flavor, with just the right amount of spice — perfect comfort food. The jambalaya was equally impressive, packed with tender seafood, sausage, and perfectly cooked rice, all in a savory, well-seasoned sauce.

You can really taste the freshness and care they put into their food here. On top of that, the atmosphere was casual yet lively — a great place to relax and enjoy a hearty, satisfying meal.

We’ll definitely be back to try more of the menu. Highly recommend The Dive if you’re craving delicious seafood with a Cajun/Creole twist!

Dive Oyster Bar is the ultimate spot to chill with great vibes, a cozy nautical dive vibe, and top-notch service. Whether you're there for a happy hour hangout or a full meal, they've got you covered! I'll always be here for their happy hour specials.

Here's what we devoured:

- Fish 'n Chips - $11.50 during happy hour; so crispy and filling!
- Hot Cheeto Mac & Cheese - $10 during happy hour, very decadent and creamy!
- House Specialty Pan Roast - the happy hour version is only $10 with grilled cheese! this dish was very flavorful and was loaded with seafood and protein.
- Clam Chowder Bowl - the happy hour version is only $7 (no bread bowl). Super creamy and delicious!

I love this spot--great service, immaculate vibes, and quality food at reasonable prices! It has everything you need for a perfect dinner out with friends. Pro tip: make a reservation on Open Table beforehand because it can get busy.

The oysters at happy hour prices are good, but the only drawback is that they are small and the service is slow

Love their happy hour oysters and house pan roast. They also carry beers from local breweries that are worth trying out. It's not super busy usually so you got a nice chill environment to enjoy your beer and maybe watch a game.

I ordered Chiopino...
Everything in it was fresh and delicious!! The waitress was awesome. She gave me a tip on how to balance the heat levels in the Cioppino the way Imay like it... I listened and it turned out perfect! Not too hot. Not too mild.
Atmosphere was great! And bathrooms were clean!

Ordered an overly priced $35 lobster roll which was small, dry, and gave me explosive diarrhea and gas all night. The food here tastes like it was pulled out of the freezer and microwaved.

On my way out saw a cockroach crawling around on the floor. Unless you’re here for happy hour drinks with friends, avoid like the plague, or you might catch it. Horrible mid and overpriced. Check your receipts!

Fun place, great menu...we could have tried every single item. Bacon wrapped shrimp and pan roasts are incredible. Friendly service. We had reservations for a Saturday evening.
