I ordered a Cioppino. The shrimp and lobster were really tough which means they were seriously overcooked. Total tab for three of us was around $185 plus tip. Not the priciest restaurant but for that much I would expect a good cook on the seafood. There are other places where I could spend the same and have the food cooked better. Service was good.

How can you argue with $1 oysters at happy hour? Great food, great wait staff.

the staff at Dive oyster bar is awesome; however double check your bill. I've been overcharged for products more than once there.

Who ever the guy was at the front checking people in needs to let people dine and enjoy there meals with out coming over leaving the front unattended and trying to bug people with pointless conversations! I didn't go out to have dinner to have my conversation interrupted while I'm trying to enjoy my dinner with my date only reason why I would go back terrible service.

I'm from out of town. And we found this place online. Stopped by and it was great. The food was sooo fresh and the atmosphere was exactly what I expected from a casual place.

Came here for Happy Hour for the first time They recently changed the times such that Happy Hour ends at 6 pm but it's available not just M-F but on the weekends too. It wasn't too busy on a Thursday and we ended up getting the clam chowder, steam clams and mussels and the fish chips. The clam chowder was great. It didn't taste too heavy with cream and there was a good amount of clams. I thought the steam clams and mussels were okay. The size of the clams and mussels seemed on the smaller side and it came with some bread too. The fish and chips I liked. I thought it was a good portion for the price. The service was great and I would come back for happy hour but maybe stick to the fish and chips and clam chowder.

The lobster roll was alright, not something I'd really crave. Think a seafood sandwich with lots of butter and oil. The French fries were kinda spicy, and I don't really like that type of food.

On the other hand, The Dive's oysters lived up to their name. Very fresh.

Presentation seemed alright. Unfortunately, unless you sit at the bar their chairs aren't very comfy.

If I were to return, I'd probably get the oysters again plus try something else.

You know a place is good when you need to use your credit card to make a reservation, and this place did not disappoint at all. The food, service, and atmosphere are all amazing. The entrees portions are big and flavorful, with tons of seafood variety. The soft shell crab was very satisfying and the oysters very fresh. Great spot in a great location too, it gets super busy on the weekends.

Came here on a Thursday with a friend and luckily made it just before happy hour ended at 6:30pm. We started with the clam and mussel, half a dozen oysters, and a bowl of clam chowder. For entrees, we shared the fish and chips and the house pan roast. Everything was delicious, fresh, and flavorful.

Service was amazing. Our server was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the night.

Parking can be tricky at times, but there’s an underground garage and a top lot, both free, which makes it manageable.

The ambiance can get loud when the games are on, but it still felt comfortable and we were able to have a conversation without shouting. Overall, a great spot for seafood and good vibes—I’ll definitely be back.

If you’re a seafood lover, The Dive Oyster Bar in Temple City is a must-try! From the moment we walked in, the staff was super friendly and welcoming, which set the tone for a great dining experience. The vibes are laid-back yet lively, making it a fun spot to enjoy fresh seafood with friends or family.

We started with the Seafood Charcuterie, which was absolutely stunning and packed with flavor—Peruvian scallops, oysters, lobster tail, king crab legs, cocktail shrimp, and 3 different sauces, all incredibly fresh and delicious. Next up were the Chowder Frots, which were indulgent little bites loaded with cheese, chowder, bacon, and tomatoes—comfort food at its best.

The highlight of the night was their house specialty Pan Roast, served with a side of rice and linguine. The creamy tomato seafood bisque base was rich and flavorful, with seafood and sausage in every bite. It was the perfect mix of hearty and comforting.

The only downside is that it’s located in a very busy plaza, and parking can be tough on weekends—but honestly, the food is so worth it. I’ll definitely be coming back for another round!

Food was okay. We ordered a bunch of their pastas but it felt like we ordered the same thing. All of the pasta had the same Cajun sauce. Their calamari was quite disappointing. The amount of squid in the calamari was small and the batter would fall apart from the squid.
