Finally went here to try this joint us since it's so local to me and I've noticed that there's always a line on their drive thru.
Came here for breakfast on the weekend. Their breakfast burritos are huge!! Which is a plus. But the bigges let down was their menudo -- so bad!!
Their menudo's broth tasted like salsa roja, and/or enchilada sauce. It was so think anf salty. The worst I've ever had and Im usually much more forgiving when people cook their own beloved menudos but this one was especially bad. Don't order it.
Maybe ill try some other items on their menu next time.

Absolutely horrible customer service. I hope the owner reads this. I was there at 8:10 AM. Monday was waiting in drive-through for like 10mins and no awnser There is a gentleman inside and when I try to get attention, he just ignored me not coming here again

Pepe's Mexican Restaurant is my go to place, great quality food and good service.
Parking: There is plenty of parking on the lot and street parking.
Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly, they offer a kids menu.
Wheelchair accessibility: There is 3 handicap parking spots, with wheelchair access.

2005, 2006 since I've been here. Carnitas nachos wasn't that great like back then, what happened to a meaty everything from this place
I got more sauce and beans than actual carnitas. Flavor also not like before, carnitas seems like only boiled with no ingredients. Hope the wet carnitas burrito tastes better. Does look like worth the extra $3 bucks for all meat burrito
After 20 mins chowing down I have to say all them people coming in this place is still rocking in popularity ?

I had a question before going and they answered my email almost immediately. That impressed me as most businesses, and all chain restaurants, are awful at customer service and rarely answer the questions. I had a breakfast meeting and wanted somewhere not too busy or crowded. When I suggested this place the other person was quite excited. "It's been awhile but that place is legendary" he said. We were there for at least an hour and a half. The owner was very entertaining and busy in all aspects of operation. The bacon breakfast burrito there is the best one I've ever had. Always is. Every time someone tells me they have a new spot with the best breakfast burrito, I try it and it fails to beat the original Pepe's. Some people think $10.49 is pricey, but you have to realize this thing is big enough to stuff 2 people. It is gigamtic. They also have four different hot sauces. Three on the counter, and their secret signature hot sauce which you have to ask for behind the counter. It's very spicy but not unpleasantly spicy, and most importantly, delicious!
Literally the only complaint I've ever had about this place was about a year and a half ago I had some drive-thru chips and guacamole and was disappointed with the portion. I mean, that's it! So if you're in the mood for a breakfast burrito, you will never beat Pepe's. We're looking for a place to meet someone for a meal and you don't want to be in a chaotic, crowded spot? This place is perfect.

Average. Carne asada taco was dry, overdid it on the cheese to make up for the tiny amount of meat. Refried egg/bean burrito that fell apart, loud music inside the restaurant. $22+ for two very average items
Would not return

One of the best chorizo and potato burritos locally. The potatoes were not extremely hard as well there was even a amount of chorizo and potatoes
As far as the carne asada burritos with rice, beans, cheese, cilantro and onions adding the green salsa on top was very delicious. I will definitely be going back again
