I take my family to this lovely spot quite often! This is my favorite place to grab a bite. I go to this spot at least once a month. The meals are great, the team is helpful and the charge is decent. I like going in this spot to have a good meal.
Always live it here the ribs are delicious. I love that they have texas toast. Definitely recommend stopping by if you are in town or passing through.
Waitress was wonderful. And did what she needed to do with a smile. What was not so great was the staff arguing loudly. Since we were sitting near the kitchen entry we can here it all. Plus one if the front entry staff was just on the phone not giving a care most of the time. Lighting was horrible. If you want to eat in the dark this is the place, most of the bulbs are burnt out here. it's been twice now we have eaten here and both times were not very good experiences. We still prefer AJs in Arroyo Grande hands down. To be clear though our waitress was great! That is the reason I gave it a 3 star or else it be 1 or 2 stars MAX.
I used to love AJ Spurs, it was practically synonymous with the quality I grew up with loving from Madonna Inn as a lifelong local. Maybe it was an off night, I just thought for $100 between 2 people the food should have been better. Food was ok. Waiter was great. The only wow I got was from the food was the dessert root beer float. Good thing that's still on the money.
Must be having problems with cooks !!!! Stew was cold carrots and potatoes cold in the center wife couldn’t eat her steak that was salty daughter couldn’t eat ribs had funny taste. The only thing good was salad left hungry and cost over $80 dollars to have food taken back and eat a salad. One star because I have to put one up
Been eating here all my life. I do not live in the area anymore but every time I come through I stop and eat here. It’s still hard not to fill up on black beans and stew before the meal!
Always, always, always amazing! Incredible food. Great service. Comfortable atmosphere. Expensive but you get a ton of food for the money.
They serve big portions and for affordable rates. kind staff. 5 stars.
Food was great but the service wasn't good. The reservation was at 7p and we weren't out til 10p. The appetizers took forever and they were cold. Sad part is it was my friends birthday. Oh also to mention the cocktail waitress had an attitude being in retail myself I told her to add the drinks to my final bill she threw a fit twice till we told our server she was rude... she didnt show her face all after that.
I’ve been going to aj spurs for over 30 years . Now I will never go back . My family always celebrates birthdays well before the free dinner . But tonight was the worst . 3 hrs 20 min we were there and it wasn’t even packed full of customers. It took them over thirty mins to get us water . 50 mins to get our drinks . Excuse after excuse you name they had a excuse . So I went to the manager yes more excuses. We finally get our dinner well over 2 hrs and our food sucked . My

great place but a little pricey.
In the limousine over there clients the sent me a plate out some pork chops and some steamed rice and it was great
Good food for a reasonable price. Fun atmosphere and friendly employees.
Good place to dine with families and kids. Consistent experience and friendly staff.
The food and service was phenomenal! I ordered the special which included 2 large beef ribs in a bbq and rub seasoning, 4 large grilled shrimp and a16 once ribeye which was prepared medium rare. I consider myself a bottomless pit but I was unable to finish it all. A complimentary beef stew with a salsa and baked beans side are thr opener to this event. There is also desert in which you are given 4 choices. I choose the liquor aperitif which was amazing even after the 3 beers I chugged that were from the Firestone brewery. If you have the opportunity you must try three 805 beer. The restaurant itself is a great place to wonder around with a huge collection of antiques and collectibles that are appropriately matched for the steakhouse. This place is a must stop if you are anywhere near the area.
