Concept keeps changing from order at counter, if the bar is open or not. Food is great.

Hubby and I stopped here to kick off our central coast vacation. LOVE the decor, shop, bar, outdoor area. Lots of small details to create the perfect vintustic (vintage+rustic) vibe! My pulled pork sandwich and fries were perfect. Hubbys tri-tip was good. Server Dallas was kind and attentive. 3 stars is for Will, the bartender who nearly ruined the experience for us. I went to order a cocktail and asked for menu, he was right in front of me but did not look up or respond. The bartender at the other end of the bar instead replied and handed me a menu. I then waited for about 10 minutes while he stood behind the bar not doing much, refusing to make eye contact. While I stood there, a male customer walked up and he offered to help him immediately. When he finally served me he handed me my drink without a word or eye contact. Dude, you do not belong in the service industry. Promote more servers like Dallas and ditch the dude with attitude behind the bar.

Recently reimagined menu and prices make this a great place to stop for amazing comfort food at an excellent price. Order at the counter, sit in a variety of rooms or on the patio, and enjoy the food when it comes. If you haven't been here since the changes, give it another try!

Food was ok. Fries were great though. Food and cocktails are too expensive for a place that doesn’t serve you. If I’m paying 40+ for a meal and drink I don’t want to have to grab my own utensils and stand in line to order. The staff is also a little awkward and aren’t aware of standard hospitality procedures. I was basically ignored my entire time in the restaurant. Decor is really cool though

We ordered iced tea and salads. The cashier told us to have a seat any where we'd like. We sat on the patio since it was such a nice day. She finally brought our salads after 30 minutes. She had to go back in for our plastic silverware. We asked about our iced teas and she said she forgot
about them. Waited another 10 minutes for them. * Please note there was only 1 other couple there at that time. Unfortunately, I can see why they weren't busy. The salad was good though...

This was our second visit. Last time it was a full service restaurant. It’s now a go up and order at the counter. Menu was limited. My cowboy tacos was generous but could have used a bit more seasoning. The burger yummy and the vegetarian sandwich were both deemed yummy. We sat inside as it was very warm outside but there were people outside . Place was dog friendly which we greatly appreciated.

Vegetarian options: Had several comment options.

A very cool looking place, you can tell the owners put effort into creating a cool restaurant that’s also unique. I’ve been here when they first opened a few years ago and the experience was terrible. I decided to try it again last night and I’ve had better food at military mess halls. Considering how little people go there the waiters should come to you they probably changed it to be able to have less employees. This has the potential to be a cool restaurant for late night templeton hangouts. I hope they can improve the food. If the burger had more flavor it would be a cool place. Nice staff!

As a Templeton local it’s sad to see a place that clearly had so much money and intention poured into it that is THIS BAD.

They’ve changed to ordering inside and then TEXT you to come pick up your food or drink when it’s ready. I learned this yesterday when I tried giving this place a third chance when a friend was in town visiting. We just walked out and went across the street for dinner. No way were we paying $20 each for cocktails we had to get up and go get ourselves!

My husband and I gave this place a try when it first opened. Our experience was that it was trying to be a cool LA place with a country feel, but there was really nothing special about it. We left still hungry and broke. The second time I tried it for dinner, same experience. The ingredients are maybe a small step above average, but nothing on the menu is worth the price. To keep their prices but make this self service is simply an insult.
