Mid-Point Winery at Radial Estate, formerly known as Rotta Winery, offers a delightful experience with a friendly and knowledgeable staff, including Blake. The wine tasting is described as a story-time, making it unique among wineries. The location is beautiful, with plans to expand that include outdoor seating, heaters, and a lawn area for pets and children. The winery features a variety of wines, especially the central coast whites, which are highly praised. Visitors can enjoy pleasant seating choices, and the staff go above and beyond to share their knowledge and the history of the area. The interaction and history alone make the visit memorable, as the Rotta family planted the earliest vineyard of Paso Robles in 1856. The staff are super friendly, even giving a bouquet of freshly cut lavender, and are very knowledgeable about the wine and region. The winery has a nice variety, including white, rose, red, and port-style wines, all tasting excellent. The hospitality host provides detailed stories behind each bottle, making the tasting even more special. Guests often purchase bottles to enjoy later and enjoy activities like playing Corn-Hole on the property and taking pictures on the long wooden Swing.
