First time there, very excited to have a new BBQ place in the valley. Ordered trip tip and chicken sandwiches with baked beans.
Sandwiches are good size, but overall just ok with flavor. Smoke ring on the tri tip sandwich was healthy. The bake beans were disappointing as was the garlic on its own.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I had an incredible dining experience at Buster's BBQ! Their tri-tip is absolutely phenomenal—perfectly cooked, juicy, and packed with flavor. The spicy sausage is another standout; it has just the right kick that keeps you coming back for more!

What really impressed me were the sides. Their potato salad and macaroni salad are delicious, especially because they aren't overly sweet like most places. It's a nice change that lets the flavors shine through.

The portions are incredibly generous, ensuring you leave with a full belly. Each meal comes with two huge pieces of French bread, which are perfect for soaking up all the delicious sauces.

If you're a BBQ lover, Buster's is a must-visit! Their dining room is very casual, and the staff are very friendly as well. I can't wait to go back and indulge in more of their mouthwatering offerings. Highly recommend!

Seriously good tri tip! I'm glad i can get some without going to a wood ranch style sit down. I bet the catering would be a hit at a party. The mild sauce still is hot for some taste buds and the mac salad is really good at cooling it down. We'll be back for more!

The tritip was over cooked. They did replace it when I asked about it being well done, but it didn't have good flavor. The garlic bread was the best part of the meal. Not nearly as good as TO meat locker.

I like Buster's! They are reasonably priced. I love their pork ribs, BBQ sauces, garlic bread, and sides, and I especially love the baked beans. (I have yet to try the chili beans.) It's a lot of food for the price. I would love to see baked mac & cheese and dessert choices on the menu. (peach cobbler):)

House made cole slaw, potato salad and mac salad. My favorite was the cole slaw. Excellent, tasty cole slaw. Good beef and baby back ribs. Good fresh bread.

i'm going to leave a 5 star review, because it's a new business and i don't want to see it fail. also, the cashier was very nice. but to charge customers 26$ for a 2 meat combo is expensive- which is fine. all bbq these days is expensive. but to then give me ONE bbq sauce and try to charge me for another is insane. with the price point this place has let's be real and not charge extra for bbq sauce.. like come on

I've had Buster's BBQ in Ventura at the original location and I've always loved it. It's a hit for me at the TO location. I picked up two dinner plates; Tri-Tip and Pork Ribs. The meats were cooked perfectly and the sides are always delicious! The chili beans and garlic bread is a must have:
The cashier was fast and effective plus very friendly. The restaurant was very clean and the music was good.
The menu is limited but it makes their staple items so much better. If they served beer, I would definitely be hanging out there and watching TV.

Great value and quality for the price. And FAST service! Now I don't have to wait in line and pay through the nose at Bandits or Wood Ranch.

Enjoyed our meal very much. Do wish they served beer, but won't stop us from going back.

Sorry but this was not good smoked meat or bbq at all. As a matter of fact, it just seemed like something that came from an oven. They have that huge smoker in front. But if this was true smoked meat. That smoker would be working 24/7 with Post Oak, Pecan, White Oak, and possibly Cherry Wood. Don’t even smell the slightest hint of smoking going on. No brisket either. Definitely not Texas style smoked or BBQ. In a whole California doesn’t come close to Texas for smoked beef, pork, links, chicken. California just does tri-tip, chicken. A good brisket can take 12 to 15 hours at 180-225 then wrapped in butcher paper until 201 to 205 degrees. Then let is sit for almost a day. Smoking is a lot of work. But this did not taste like authentic smoked meat. Staff seemed polite though. But did not see a lot of smoked meat experience in there. Always room to improve though.

Thank you for the fast reply. I did not know you have not received permits for the smoker. So I retract my review about the smoked meats. It would be unfair to stand by that review when you are unable to employ the smoker. I will definitely visit again when the smoker is implemented. Looks promising and will visit again and try the smoked meats. Thank you for the clarification. Staff was friendly and establishment was clean.

VERY limited menu of 3 sandwiches and 3 rice bowls. The bread is good. The "hit" BBQ Sauce qualified as mild or medium.
If this place expands it maybe to include full entrees with sides and ribs, beef for me, it probably will do well. Otherwise T O. Meat Locker r down the street or the Saturday We Elks BbQ are much better
