What a hidden gem! Wonderful people and service and exceptional food. I didn't like their chocolate truffles very much but everything else, the soup, the sandwiches, the coffee was outstanding. It does get busy and doesn't have a lot of seating so plan accordingly.

A very authentic French bakery. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was cozy and relaxing. Quite a contrast to the busy street it is on. We had a quiche and a croque and they were both amazing. I grabbed two chocolate croissants on the way out and they were the best I'd had in a while. The price matches the quality. I didn't feel like I over paid for what I got. I'll have to come back to try all the other bakery items.

Finally found the tastiest croissant on this side of the world. Bravo for Chocolatine!

Chocolatine is a really neat French cafe, with a really nice ambiance and friendly staff. Unfortunately they do have a policy of closing their kitchen 30 minutes prior to closing so I was not able to order any food, but everything looked delicious! The mojito soda was great, I'm surprised it isn't a traditional flavor here. There are a handful of tables inside and 2 outside however it does get very sunny in the front in the middle of the day.Parking: Limited spots in front of the building however there is also a parking lot behind!

Overall, this place is a lovely little cafe with a cute atmosphere and decor. I wanted to LOVE it, and I had been thinking and planning of going to this place for a while. And while the environment and staff were friendly, there were some parts of this cafe that I found disappointing. I love trying new cuisine and experiencing different types of food. However, when I arrived, at the beginning of lunch, the display cases were lacking, and the food looked like it had been sitting out. Don't get me wrong- the environment was adorable, and the staff was already working despite it being towards the beginning of lunch, but the barren look of the displays left a bad taste in my mouth. I ordered a sandwich, which was pleasant, and I ordered one of their butter croissants. I found the croissant to be a bit stale and dry, but I enjoyed it nonetheless because it was well made despite seeming old. The sandwich was nothing worth remarking on and was a fine sandwich overall. I ended up sampling a cookie or two from their display case, and much like the butter croissant, I feel that it seemed stale. As much as I love the atmosphere, decor, and service, I found that the staleness of the food tainted my experience. As much as I loved the restaurant's appeal with its interior design and French decorations, the only thing keeping me from going again is the feeling that the food I was served wasn't fresh.

My husband and I were there recently and this little cafe became our favorite ❤️. It’s very cozy and very nice inside. We tried their chocolate mousse and lemon tart and they were delightful. The coffee was really tasty too. We are looking forward to going back there soon❤️

Possibly the best Croque Monsieur (grilled cheese) we have ever had! Fresh bread in panini-style. We also had a Jesuite (almond pastry) and a Petit Chou. The coffee is really good!Such a quaint spot on busy TO Blvd that feels worlds away!

All the food we had was excellent, and the service was great. I didn't remember to take a picture of what I got because I ate it so fast

A croque monsieur is supposed to have bechamel sauce and melted cheese on top. They are just serving a ham and cheese pinni and calling it a croque monsieur...

My son was in the mood for a crepe, so we tried Chocolatine based off of their Yelp reviews. We were greeted in French by our lovely server (I believe the owner) who helped recite the menu for us, since our AT&T cellphone service did not work inside to view the menu. I ordered the Today's Special bacon quiche du jour and my son ordered a Nutella and strawberry Crepe. The quiche was delicious, fluffy eggs, and a flakey crust. Yum! It came with a nice side salad with a mustard vinaigrette. We ordered some macaroons and a crème brûlée tart to bring home. Everything tasted fresh and delicious...We especially loved the tart!I loved that we were greeted in French, it made me feel like we escaped to France for lunchPhoto of Chocolatine French Café - Thousand Oaks, CA, United States.
