Perhaps the best culinary experience in our area. The food is absolutely fantastic from the appetizers to the main dish and the desserts, everything exquisite. As for your appetizer I highly suggest the brussel sprouts, main dish on this evening I had the cork dork Burger which was phenomenal but several at my table enjoyed the duck which was spectacular and included wild rice. The desserts were wonderful and large enough to share. A wide assortment of wines from very affordable to high-end champagnes and after dinner wines/drinks. Put this one on your list, it is absolutely spectacular.Lastly, the staff was extremely attentive and therefore the service was excellent. Chef Danny came out and greeted us to make sure that we were enjoying our experience and displayed a great passion for his craft as well as his restaurant!

My fiancé and I do not get the privilege of dining out very much. So when we do we try to do our research on where to go. It was my Fiancés birthday and I got a recommendation that we needed to try this place and I'm so glad we did! Reservation was at 5pm and we were seated quickly. The host acknowledged that we were celebrating a birthday because I put it in my notes on the reservation. They had a little card signed by everyone which was already a winner in my heart. They went out of their way to make us feel special and at home. Chef Danny came out to greet us and I noticed he went around to several tables which I thought was amazing. I know things can be hectic in a kitchen so I felt so grateful he was able to come and introduce himself. It gave a very personable touch to the experience. The food. Honestly I can't even describe accurately how absolutely amazing everything was. No complaints at all. Everything was delicious. I personally had the corn cake and it was like breakfast for dinner. I'm a sweets girl and had to try the dessert menu and I loved the freshness of the cake and berries. It was a delicious dessert everything was just so crisp and fresh. I'm one who really believes in energy going into food. As crazy as that may sound you can taste the passion and love put into these items. There is something amazing about that and you can't replicate it without understanding it first. I definitely will be recommending this gem of a place to anyone looking for an amazing experience especially for a special occasion.

This place is a gem. I honestly can't believe it's out in our area. We always get the tasting menu, but it's fantastic. Great, interesting food and everyone is just so nice.

Awesome experience. I feel that it is one of the few, true restaurant (dining) experiences in the Calabasas, Westlake, TO area. Chef Danny and his team provided an wonderful experience from the food, wine, ambiance, and friendly staff. The mussels were fantastic. We will be going back soon.

With a place that presents itself as a wine bar, a person expects the wine service to be above average. Unfortunately, it was not. Of the 6 glasses of wine ordered, one was full of sediment. You'd think a wine bar would strain the bottom of each bottle, but not a huge offense. The problem came when we mentioned the issue. The waiter said he would speak to the sommelier. Then he came back and said, “That's just sugar.” We know that. The issue is a last mouthful of sediment. So we asked to speak to the sommelier directly. Rather than apologizing or doing anything at all positive, the guy said, “That's what happens sometimes.” An expected response at a chain restaurant perhaps, but not a wine bar. The guy was haughty and rude. All we were looking for is an acknowledgment and a small gesture. Instead, we got distain and aggression. We won't be back.

Absolutely fantastic!! First time dining at Cork Dork and we decided to try the chefs tasting menu , we added the wine pairing also. The food was delicious, the service was on point and I look forward to going again soon.

Amazing food and amazing service. They must have someone just standing around looking to see when you will finish your water because when I took my last sip I already had someone at my table to fill it up. Amazing place to spend an evening!

Our Valentine's Day meal was disappointing - too expensive for the portion size, pairing a wine with the meal would have made it better but they didn't do that, we were seated next to some sort of social media person who was using a spot light and large camera to photograph her meal which was just inconsiderate to paying guests (her meal was on the house), the dessert portion that this social media person received was larger than the same dessert that my wife ordered, the corkage fee was way too high, luckily we had a bottle of 2013 Dom Perignon so it made the corkage fee easier to swallow - this was our second visit and probably our last.

Great find. Very attentive servers. Ordered the prime rib capriccio appetizer- delicious! Also great - mushroom risotto and angus short rib. Found a reasonably priced Spanish wine that went well with all three dishes. We'll definitely be back!

I don't want to say how great Cork Dork is because I don't want to let everyone know... it's like a secret gem tucked into a very non-assuming strip center. I was there last summer but first time for my husband and our friends - WOW! We will be back FOR SURE! The staff, the food, the wine and drinks, the chef and sommelier- they don't miss a beat! All fabulous!!

I love Cork Dork as it is always great. Casual dining at its best. Excellent wine and drink selections, amazing food and Local owners who care. I believe that they have updated the food and wine menu lately. I had the Arugula salad, Cauliflower and the hamburger, each was delicious. A neighborhood gem that is well worth the drive.

We had a delicious meal at Cork Dork. We shared the beet and burrata salad, then My companion had the short ribs and I had the Skirt Steak. Both melted in your mouth and had delicious sauces. The negative part of the experience was the Post Cabernet which we chose. It was very acidic upon opening the bottle, but opened up after a spinning decanter mixed it. Also, the waiters clear the tables too quickly.

Cork Dork always impresses. The menu is Cal-Med (in my opinion) and always offers something new. There are unique twists on classics, too. The service was friendly and professional, as always (fourth visit). This is possibly a top 5 restaurant between Santa Barbara and Los Angeles. Most definitely in the Conejo Valley.
