We got two lunch specials... The chicken parmigiana and the eggplant parmigiana. YUM! Both came with spaghetti w/marinara sauce, a garlic knot, cans or fountain drinks (they have every selection) and a delicious fresh COLD salad. Dressing was great. When I got back home 10 minutes later, hot food was piping hot. May seem a little pricey for a lunch special ($16.99 and $15.99) but it's a GREAT deal because after lunch it's $22, no drink (worth it either way.) You get what you pay for. Sauce is excellent - tastes like my Italian Grandma spent hours over the stove. Takes me four or five hours to make a sauce that tastes like that. 10 out of 10. Just a touch of sweetness, exactly the way I love it. The chicken and eggplant and salad were great, seasoned just right. My first time here but I will definitely be back to try the pizza. Other reviewers called it a hole in the wall, but I thought it was very nice and clean with great "pizza place" vibe. Other reviewers didn't like the servers, but mine (young man) was very nice and attentive. So all in all, we got two huge meals, which were actually equal to four meals - all for under $35 including drinks, salad, and rolls. Can't wait to try the pizza!!! Kudos to the owners!

We tried D'Amore's Pizza in Thousand Oaks for the first time, and we loved it! We dined in and ordered the family sized baked ziti, a regular sized meatless Italian salad, garlic knots with marinara sauce, and a large canola for dessert.The ziti was rich and cooked perfectly and tasted so good! The family portion was way more food than we needed for 2 adults and a child, though. The regular size would have fed us all.The meatless Italian salad was fresh and included romaine lettuce, mozzarella cheese, olives, tomatoes, and pepperoncinis. The Italian dressing was served on the side and it was all delicious.I ordered an 805 draft beer, which came in a cold glass. So good!The canoli was rich, creamy, crispy with a bit of chocolate drizzle on the plate. It tasted authentic and really good!The prices at D'Amore's Pizza are very reasonable, especially considering that we had a family portion of ziti for $24.I highly recommend you try D'Amore's Pizza for an authentically delicious and reasonably priced Italian meal.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian menu options are plentiful.

The interior isn’t very impressive but we were absolutely amazed by the arugula prosciutto pizza. Fresh ingredients. Scattered pine nuts were a welcome treat. Crust was thin, crunchy, and flavorful.
