Darband Grill

Having been related by marriage to Persian relatives, we have been immersed in great Persian home cooked meals - this place does a great credit to those wonderful home cooking meal we have had! I loved their game hen dinners, the kabob, gormeh Sabsi, polos, etc. Everything very good and the service very efficient and professional!

Had lunch here earlier this week while I was in town. Saw great reviews online but I was surprised to find an empty restaurant at 1pm. I guess they have changed their name and are now called Sadef. I decided to go with shish chicken kabob late with a side of salad. Food came about in 15 mins and the chicken was so tender and delicious. One of my favorite Persian restaurants when I'm deep in LA. I love their chicken Kabobs, very authentic flavors. Their Fesenjon stew was delicious on my crispy tadig appetizer. I actually got to meet the new owner, Sadaf. She had already done some revamping of the place, it looks much better. She was very kind and excited to be there.
