Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse

This is only my second time here. The appetizer board was wonderful as always. Unfortunately, my drink was poor - I asked for Margarita Reposado on rocks, with salt. I got no salt and Jose Cuervo Tequila. The meat I was served was almost uniformly dry. I like my meat rare but the first time we were here it was well done but deliciously moist and flavorful. This time it was just dry. One of the meats was fairly good but I don't know which one it was. Our bill was incorrect as we were charged for getting "premium" meats. The waiter did not tell us there was a choice, just charged us for it. They did take care of the error very nicely but with two of us it was a $50 error. We will try it one more time (the best two out of three?) and hope things are better.

A bit pricey but the food was excellent and the service was great. Perfect for a special occasion.

I had to special request the bottom round and top round servers come by a second time. The server with the cheese only came by once.

I don't know if the value was worth it. There wasn't much meat brought out to our party and they kept skipping several people.

I have eaten at other Fogo de Chao restaurants around the country. They have all been exemplary. This was my first visit to the one in Thousand Oaks. It was very disappointing. The meat was underwhelming. Not seasoned well and most was tasteless. The bacon wrapped chicken was very good. The cheese and honey fantastic. But Im not paying for cheese and chicken Im paying for steak. Well seasoned and tasty beef. The temperature was good, nice and medium rare. But it just lacked flavor. I judge beef by if I feel I could have done the same thing on the grill at home. In this case yes I could in almost every way. The service was not much better. We had to ask for everything. I wasn't even sure who my waiter was. Maybe because it was a weekday but I likely will not be going back to this location in the future. Texas de Brazil was far better.

Our waitress was brand new but you couldn't tell! I wish I remembered her name she was amazing. The food was okay if you do the churassco experience. Meat didn't really have any flavor just tasted like I was eating cooked meat which was unfortunate since it was my birthday celebration.

The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable abut the wine and food that was being served. The food served was excellent, I got to try Wagyu for the first time, and it was as good as I imagined.

Alana,Taida,Troy, and Justin do work! They made my experience at Fogo, the best. Im coming back again because they took care of me well! Recommending this location

We went for an event, which got a little overwhelming. So we decided to switch to a regular table with the churrasco experience. Everyone from the manager to the waiters (Jaden and Alana) and the servers were amazing! Very kind, friendly and quick. Would definitely be going again.

We come here for special occasions and it never disappoints. Tonight, we came because we wanted red meat lol and Chrissy (customer service) made sure we were comfortable, happy and full! We are big fans of this location.
