Himalaya Restaurant Thousand Oaks

Superb Indian/ Nepali food and each dish was awesome! The butter chicken authentic and the tandoori also really good! The Nepalese Bhutwaa super and the service was very friendly under Utpal's( owner) keen eyes! We would love to go back to that area just to eat there and meet the friendly staff! My experience dining at Himalaya Restaurant was very pleasant. The food is very tasty and well spiced. The variety of dishes is quite good. I would recommend this Restaurant to others wanting a nice dining experience.

They offer a fantastic range of fresh food. I like eating here. The employees are always welcoming, pricing is affordable and the place is always neat.

I wish I would have known about this restaurant sooner! Wonderful flavors like tamarind sauces and salad dressing and curries. You can chose to sit reclined on pillows in a traditional style booth. Such a great cuisine experience. I had the burrito with delicious curried vegetables. It was so filling that I had to take half of it to go. Next time I will have to try their goat and chicken curries.

last night was our first time we came to that place. But It is obviously not the last time. We had a good time with the good service, with the exceptional dishes and wine and with the decent pay. We will definitely return there again.

Absolutely loved it. The food is amazing and the staffs are very cooperative. We were in a rush so ordered beforehand. When we reached there the food was served already as we have asked on phone. If you want to have some authentic Nepali food with good Nepali vibes, give this place a visit.

Excellent food and service! Food was hot, flavorful and well portioned for their prices. The garlic naan was tasty as was our meal. I would definitely visit again.

The menu here is similar to Indian cuisine. Everything we tried was delicious, expertly prepared and spiced just right. Seating is available inside and on the patio. The ambience was casual and a bit exotic. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner.

My daughter suggested this place and she was right...really good food! All the dishes were very authentic and delicious.

We ordered dinner from Himalayan and couldn’t have been more pleased with the meal. Fresh, delicious, wonderful! What a great discovery in Thousand Oaks. We’ll definitely order from them again.

Love the food ..it's international cuisine..Indian , Tibet and Nepal..I have been coming to this place since it opened. I enjoy everything in the menu..pleasant atmosphere..highly recommend..

Same great service and authentic food as before the pandemic. They updated the patio and is a nice spot for happy hour.
