The coffee had a warm, inviting aroma and a flavor that felt balanced and smooth. The bitterness was gentle, making it easy to sip. The staff served it quickly and with a smile, which made the visit pleasant. Overall, a satisfying and enjoyable drink.

The cup arrived promptly, presented neatly and at a comfortable temperature. The flavor leaned mild, with no bold notes to make it stand out. The aroma was soft and faded quickly, offering only a brief sense of freshness. The body was thin, which made it smooth but ordinary. The finish was plain, leaving no strong aftertaste. Overall, it was acceptable and easy to drink, but forgettable once finished.

Historia was fabulous! As others have said, the food, coffee, and the folks working there were all wonderful. I had the best club sandwich I've ever had! Definitely returning many times!

We recently discovered this bakery/coffee shop and do we ever wish we’d known about it sooner! Firstly the coffee they use is extremely good, secondly the baked goods are delicious and the sandwiches, salads and avocado toast which are all made to order absolutely first rate. The owners make everyone feel so welcome and at home. We’ve only been going there for three weeks and we feel as though we’ve been part of their community for years, all their regular customers are really nice too. All that and the fact that they show EPL games makes it a perfect breakfast and lunch spot.

This is my first time visiting Historia Bakery. I ordered the sourdough Breakfast Sandwich, a Raspberry Bar Pastry, and a Cappuccino. This was one of the best breakfasts I've had in quite some time. The sandwich which had fresh sourdough, poached egg, two types of cheese, and fresh tomatoes and yes, even the tomatoes were good(I grow my own tomatoes so I notice those kinds of things). The pastry was absolutely perfect. It was soft but not fall apart soft, and it had so much flavor! The coffee was very high quality, and delicious. The service was fantastic, and I had a wonderful chat with the owners who clearly take pride in their business and appreciate their customers. Please support your local business and if you've never been here to Historia Bakery, give it a try as you will be pleasantly surprised.

Good pastries but please update your Google hours. Timings are off by 2 hours.

A delicious and authentic Cubano, flaky breakfast pastry, and truly kind and involved owner. So glad I came and will be back! They even have my dog a piece of bacon for being a good girl.

Had an awesome experience stopping by for coffee and pastries with the family. The service was great with coffee and pastries being equally outstanding!

I love this bakery, partly because it is a unique and quirky small business in a sea of malls and chains - but also because the pastries are beautiful and tasty, and the coffee is wonderful. The owners make their customers feel very welcome, and are clearly passionate about chess - they offer a comfortable space and sets for guests to play while visiting.

I don't live in Thousand Oaks but try to incorporate a visit to this bakery whenever I am in town. If only I could eat as many baked goods as I wished!

Robin is a sweetheart, made me feel right at home. I had a ham and cheese croissant and a drip coffee. Coffee was strong and flavorful :) Everything was so good I forgot to take a picture!

What a delicious treat this was. We stopped in by chance and were met with the kindest service and warm smiles that made us feel so welcome. We tried a savory bite and some treats each one better than the last. It was such an unexpectedly amazing breakfast.

The blueberry lavender latte! Easily the best I’ve ever had. The balance between the coffee and floral was spot on. We took everything to go and enjoyed it at the park, which made the whole morning feel extra special.

Loved that it’s a family-run spot. Everyone was so friendly and down-to-earth. I’ll definitely be back soon.

Pretty good coffee, really good food! Here's a picture of the savory sandwich we ordered and look at the size of that avocado! It's probably a little bit pricier, but it's good to see that they don't skimp out!

Good ambiance inside too!

Also, the owner talked me into ordering a Cubano instead of a Cortado and I think that was a very good move! It’s basically a shot of espresso, but with sugar in the coffee grounds before the shot is pulled.
