My friend Pat and I have started meeting on Monday mornings for coffee. We decided to go to história bakery. So glad we did, it’s amazing! Their food and pastries are lovely and so yummy! If you do go into breakfast sometime and you like avocado toast you gotta try Robyn’s avocado toast It’s a whole meal in itself. Breakfast pastries are wonderful also. The atmosphere is fantastic. Robyn & her husband are so warm and welcoming you feel like you’ve known them for such a long time but you’ve only just met. It’s not only the food that makes it wonderful there, it’s the people also.

Absolutely the best coffee in Conejo valley. The cafe Cubano is simply outstanding. They run it through an espresso machine and it comes out absolutely amazing, layers of flavor and complexity. Plus owners are super nice and location/ambience is chill.

The best hot breakfast (bacon, egg, cheese on a pretzel croissant) and we got a pot of hot tea it was incredible. The owner was so welcoming and absolutely a 10/10 morning. If you are in Thousand Oaks area go here you will love it.

Historia Bakery has the best chocolate croissant! It’s perfectly flaky, buttery, and filled with just the right amount of chocolate. I keep meaning to try something else, but I can’t resist getting the croissant every time. The staff is always friendly, and the place has such a cute, welcoming vibe. Definitely worth a visit!

First time customer, and I will be back :) Everyone was extremely kind and helpful, plus the food and coffee were delicious! (bonus points if you like chess, they have plenty of boards to play on)

We love Historia! They are so kind and attentive with the BEST coffee and food. Their coffee gives me so much energy, only one cup and I am good all day.

I wanted to try this place but the space is too small and they didn’t even acknowledge me when I walked in. They were too busy talking to people they knew. Just go to Starbucks, better service and cheaper.

Historia Bakery is a neighborhood gem and worth the visit. We have enjoyed coffee, tea, pastries and sandwiches several times and the owner and staff are always friendly and attentive.

There isn’t anything on the menu that is bad - so feel free to ask the staff about crowd favorites or tell them what you like and they will suggest something that fits your taste.

Everything is fresh - so if you want the good stuff - I suggest you visit earlier before they run out!

Stumbled upon this gem by accident and what a great find. The food is delicious including the awesome Avocado toast and Chicken Salad Sandwich were exceptional. It’s hard for me to go here and not have one of the delicious almond croissants, the best! Give them a try, you won’t be sorry. Thank you to the friendly staff.

Anyone who has been lucky enough to enjoy cafe culture knows how special it is to find a place with personality, a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere, great service with huge smiles, and excellent - and great value - food and drinks. Historia, with its happy chatty regulars, and wonderfully friendly and accommodating staff, provides a level of comfort and a sense of community which is so rare in this area. Highly recommend the kouign Amman, a beautiful buttery layered almond or raspberry French pastry, crispy and flaky with a wonderfully moist and chewy center.

Don’t go here. They aren’t open when they say they’re going to be open.
