Holdren's Steaks & Seafood

Holdren's serves the best salmon with tropical fruit medley with mashed potatoes. It just has a great blend of flavors. My husband chose filet medallions with the twice baked potato. When the meals arrived we decided to split both so we could enjoy both types of food. DELICIOUS 😋 The perfect ending to celebrate our anniversary was the cheesecake that just melted in our mouths. Great service and ambiance too!!

Good food! The ahi was delicious! The ribeye was good, just slightly over what I wanted. The lemon tart has great flavor, but the crust was very soggy. All in all, it was a good meal. I just expected a bit more attention to details as well as better service.

Favorite place in Newbury for a date night or girls night out! Perfect sized menu and the weekly specials are so good!

A very enjoyable dinner with great wait staff! We enjoy coming to here a few times every month. Always greeted by the host as an old friend. Great ambiance.

We've been to Holdren's Santa Barbara, and recently Holdren's Newbury Park. The food is consistent at both locations. The service is consistent at both locations. But we prefer Newbury Park because the interior feels less crowded, and the noise level is much lower. The parking is definitely more convenient, too. The food is great! Filet Mignon is always perfectly cooked, and still one of the only steak houses where choice of salad comes with the entree which makes for a complete meal and an old school steak house feel!! ◡̈ Highly recommend Holdren's Santa Barbara and Newbury Park!

My go to Restaurant for great Steak, an Amazing Wine List and Thoughtful attentive service. My wife and I have eaten at the Newbury Park location 5 times and we will not dine anywhere else for a great Steak Dinner. In the past we have also dined at Ruth's Chris, Flemings, and Morton's Beverly Hills. We would not even think about dining at Larsens (bad reviews on line and stupid high pricing) or Mastros (Stratospheric pricing). Your (Holdren's) pricing is thoughtful and fair!!! Looking forward to dining at your Santa Barbars location soon.

Always amazing delicious food, friendly service.

Food was not up to par. Risotto was bland ... my friends lamb chops not served medium rare , halibut served with relish on top instead of on the side. Possibly off night.

The service and food was excellent! I had the double pork chops that were grilled to perfection. Only drawback was the place was packed, busy and loud...so if you're looking for an intimate date night, don't go on a Friday or Saturday. I have no problem with the exciting environment but wifey wanted a quiet romantic dinner. Holdren's food, service A+++! Thank you!

My dinner was delicious and they had a nice wine selection as well. Would definitely recommend this place if you're in the area. Great music too!

Food, service, everything was amazing. I don’t particularly like going out to eat nowadays but I would definitely come back here again.

Enjoyed some happy hour drinks on the patio before dinner. Food and selection were very good. Service all night was excellent. Noise level was almost too much. Will be going back again. Loved the apple walnut salad.

Was so disappointed. $300 check and left feeling so unsatisfied . $56 dollar ribeye that was medium, came out under seared, under seasoned and very chewy. Was expecting a great steakhouse but the meat quality was extremely mid and lacking.

We had dinner tonight at Holdren's to celebrate a birthday. I asked for the "red room" knowing it would be quiet. It was! Our server Kelly was attentive and fun. The food was delicious. We couldn't have asked for a nicer evening. Thank you, Holdren's.
