We celebrated an anniversary here and the service and the food was very good. It was a Sunday night and we did it early so it wasn't very crowded but then it did get busy later on. This is a well-established location and is a top place in the area for steaks and overall dining. That said, the meal was not inexpensive so be prepared. This is a fine dining establishment in Newbury Park. The food is excellent, the service is top notch and the wine list is extensive. We have enjoyed dining there on a number of occasions and have never been disappointed.
Holdren's is a true gem. We have been to the Santa Barbara restaurant which is cool and trendy, and we frequent the Newbury Park restaurant which is more local for us and what this review is about.
