I was a little bit surprised by the amount of negative reviews at La La Land because it’s actually my go-to place for occasional matcha. I did have a similar experience that was described in the comments: I asked for a no sugar alternative matcha and the staff suggested me stevia, asking me how many pumps I need. I never tried stevia before so I said well regular is fine. I tasted it, it was really unbearable - too too sweet, so I asked can they just redo an unsweetened plain matcha which they did very quickly and problem was solved. The staff were friendly and understanding of the situation, so I wouldn’t complain

My favorite La La Land! They always do such a good job with my drink. I always get a mango passion fruit cooler with extra mango flavor. Very delicious. Always a good experience coming here on my way home!

Awful staff - always rude. Expect to wait 45+ minutes for a drink and when you ask the baristas if it’s being made/has already been made the dismiss you and tell you they don’t even have an order with that name but then proceed to make it 5-10 minutes later because they DID have a ticket with the name but don’t bother to be polite and check. They blame the wait on other customers. Every time I’m there, there are 5+ people complaining about waiting an hour and trying to check the status of their drink because we’re scared it’s stolen. If you do ask for a drink to be remade they make sure to make the shittiest version of a latte known to man because they’re petty.

Avoid this location at all costs. I’ve had no issues with other locations.

Great aesthetics, comfy indoor/outdoor seating, but the staff is hands-down the worst I’ve ever dealt with.

On multiple occasions my pickup orders were wrong or completely missing. The girls at the counter acted clueless, literally laughing while fumbling tickets like it was a joke, zero sense of urgency or care. Even when it’s dead, expect to wait 15+ minutes for two coffees.

After the 3rd or 4th screw-up, I quit going completely. Thought the problems would get fixed since it was a newer spot, but nope, horribly managed and staffed by immature employees who only care about looking trendy, not about efficiency or customers.

Place has potential, but it starts at the top. They need to clean house, fire the dead weight, and get a competent manager ASAP.
Sad waste of a nice location.

Finding a table was no problem at all. The coffee is good. I usually just an Americano. The business has a great story. Look them up and go to support what they are doing.

I love La La Land. I usually go to the Calabasas location but decided to stop into this one. Horrible Staff with Horrible Attitudes. The girls are wearing no clothing and are very rude. Wish they had name tags so I could address who I dealt with. My drink was made wrong, and when I asked for a remake, I was ignored until a female with Ari on her apron came over and helped remake my drink. She has the best attitude I’ve seen with the girl with curly black hair. They are the only ā€œangelsā€ I’ve seen in this place besides my cup. Will only return if those two are working.

La La Land Kind cafe has a wonderful atmosphere with friendly staff that make you feel welcome. The almond croissant was especially delicious and paired perfectly with the coffee.

All markets should be as clean and well stocked as Stater Brothers. It's worth the short drive to shop there.
