We are from LA where arguably the best Mexican food is in the state and let me tell you this place is TOP TIER.
If you’re looking for fresh tacos with the authentic MX taste fresh prepared THIS is it.
Every meat I tasted (my husband got carnitas, pastor, and carne asada) was super fresh, seasoned perfectly, tender, chips were fresh, fresh lemons, not limes (another sign of authenticity imo, iykyk).
The salsas had authentic spice levels, everything.
10/10 for a solid taquero joint. Forget EPL or any other fast food place.
My husband got 5 HUGE tacos for $15!
straight fire, end of rant haha.

I'm back in California for like three days and rolled the dice on this taco truck in hopes of striking gold and it was really very tasty. The pastor was the best of the meats I tried, would recommend. Prices are dirt cheap.

Dude… dont.
as a Mexican.. Mexican.
These are the Worse tacos I have ever had.
I brought my white Girlfriend trying to impress my culture.. what an Embarrassing experience.
Asada - nothing but Fat and tendons
Tripa / Guts - stale , dry and chewy
Carnitas - no seasoning , not even salt.
Al Pastor / pork - is the best one highly recommended.
Everything else ..
salsa - to the lime. Was trash.
Lime was old and soft. Salsa is basically Ketchup.
Never again.

Carnitas burrito was good. I feel as though the meat could have been a little warmer but I got a lot of it. If I'm in there area I would go back but it won't be a staple for me.

Got some tacos last night. They usually come with onions and cilantro but this time I got them with nothing. Just some meat and greasy tortillas. Food was bland. Luckily they didn’t forget the habanero salsa because that was the only thing with flavor! It took such a long time for the food it wasn’t even worth the wait! Huge disappointment. I can see why there was only 1 other customer there besides me on a Friday night. I wouldn’t recommend this place.
I always get their perfectly, portioned carne asada burritos, which only costs $11, here when I need a quick fix in Thousand Oaks! Sometimes I do get their tortas as well. Super consistent with their taste and they are quick with your order even when they are busy. The burrito has rice, beans, pico de gallo, melted cheese, and seasoned steak. You can also add guacamole with added cost. They have 3 levels of spice, but no avocado sauce. Their 3 salsas tastes ok. I’ve had better, but I’ve also had worst where there was no flavor and just tasted watered down. I do like their spiciest habanero salsa, so definitely ask for that if you love spice.
No extra veggie/condiments you can get from a usual self serve station that most trucks have. I always love to have radishes and some lime/lemon wedges on the side to eat my food with. Maybe you have to ask? Not to sure. So in general, 4/5 for food. The small stuff really matters.
The busiest that I’ve seen them is about 4 parties waiting for food and about 5-6 parties waiting to order. During that time I’ll wait for around 10-15mins in line and 10-15mins for my order.
I rated service and atmosphere 4/5 and gave a total of 4/5 stars because I would have wished they had some sort of seating or tables set up for those who want to eat their food right away. I understand that it’s a food truck and might not offer it, but some trucks go out of their way to do it as well. It could be some sort of regulation in that area or because it’s in such a small sidewalk area.
It may seem sketchy at night because it is dimly lit in that area. They have great lights when you walk up to their truck, but that’s about it. The other areas are a bit dark. I think it would be great if they added one or two more lights to cover more area for customers so they feel more comfortable waiting outside at night for their food.

Great food!
Solid spot, carne asada is really good. Pastor wasn’t great but they were closing so maybe that was the problem. Green salsa is perfect. This is the only spot that satisfies “taqueria” style Mexican food in the area.
It was our first time here after a friend referral, and it was delicious. The tacos de cabeza were excellent.
