This is such a hidden gem that I discovered thru word of mouth. It like I traveled to Paris. Please check it out . I hope you love it as much as I do.

We got coffee, croissants, and a muffin. Great coffee and amazing almond croissant! Muffin was great too!

Chocolate croissant could use a little more chocolate but it was super flakey and had a great texture.

Amazing chocolate croissants! My wife and I have traveled to Paris and Bordeaux over the years and finally found chocolate croissants as fabulous as what we're had in our travels to France. Truly grateful for this local French Bakery. Thank you!

I just discovered this amazing bakery. This is a hidden gem in the Conejo Valley. Everything I have tried reminds me of being in Paris and the delicious bread and croissant

I don’t usually write reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience. Please don’t support this bakery as they don’t treat their staff well. As a college student needing a summer job, I accepted a position with La Princiere. The hiring process felt rushed, but I was eager to start. her training was poor; she left me alone at the front while she baked, and she was harsh about minor mistakes. She told me I will be the cause for if someone gives a bad review. When you train someone, you stay with them, not leave them to work alone and expect them to figure it out. While she may be a skilled baker, her management and training skills are lacking. After two hours of working, she asked me to open the dishwasher to clean the plates. When I did, the door suddenly crashed down on my hand and fell to the floor. The baker accused me of breaking it, though it fell on its own. Despite my request to review the camera footage, she ignored me and called the manager. She then asked me to leave, in a very hostile tone. I believe she has broken the dishwasher and hired me to blame me and avoid her own accountability. I know you might see this and respond, but I want to express that your treatment was unfair. Those two hours were unnecessarily stressful, especially considering I’ve worked in more demanding environments. Your lack of organization was evident, and I hope the owner considers finding someone else to handle hiring and training.

A bit hit and miss, so feel like this is more of a 3.5star kind of place, but rounding up because I like that it's locally owned.

The Good:
Regular croissant: expensive but very good -- flaky, you could taste the rich butter. Definitely the best thing they make.
Raspberry muffin: not overly sweet, crumble topping was crisp, buttery and delicious.
Would definitely come back for both of these and/or try the blueberry muffin.

The Not as Good:
Chocolate Croissant: after the regular croissant, we were disappointed with the chocolate croissant. Didn't seem like it was the same dough -- it was kind of stale and didn't have the same buttery flavor as the regular one. Plus there was only 1 stick of chocolate and it tasted a little chalky.
Service: Service was where they need improvement. We ordered 3 pastries and a coffee. We got the pastries but then waited and waited and waited for the coffee to show up. Finally, we went asked about it, the guy claimed they were "making it right now." Well, there were only 2 people working - the guy we asked who was standing around not doing anything and our original cashier woman who was unsteadily moving bread loaves from the back of the shop to the front of the shop -- so who exactly was making it right now for us? A quick apology that they had forgotten would have gone over a lot better.

Other stuff: Sunday morning at 10:30 at they were sold out of a lot of stuff (only 1 piece of quiche left, no beignets, no almond tarte). Bathroom was out of order. No one cleans the tables.

Overall, I'd say, it's worth going for a regular croissant and a muffin, but just take it to go because the rest of the experience is only OK.

this place is truly amazing. I dined in with a few of my friends. The chef has a great personality, and the food is exceptional. All homemade I Highly recommend this to anyone. I had a coffee latte my friend had a coffee latte, croissants, and carrot cake. I got as a gift. She is an amazing individual. She comes out and talks to people. She asks how the food is. She wants to be sure you’re happy. I will definitely be back. I told my church friends at atmosphere.
