We stopped here in our way to a concert. We are so thrilled with the food, the service and ambiance that we will drive 2 houses again just to enjoy the delicious food.

Food- Nothing compares to Peru's Taste in Northridge, CA. NOTHING. Their Yucca frita was good, the sauces were NOT. Ordered pollo saltado, the food tastes like soy sauce and nothing else. We also ordered the pollo a la brasa which required an EXTENSIVE wait and it was smoked and overcooked. It did not have good flavor. Service- We arrived when there was a rush and somehow they dropped or lost all the orders and everything got jumbled up. We were hungry, but exercised patience and tried to be understanding. But they brought us our drinks THIRTY minutes after being seated and food did not get to us till 45 minutes (appetizer of Yucca) and then 50 minutes for my plate and we waited an extra 15 for my friends plate! I asked them to take my plate for them to warm it up as I had been sitting there waiting for her plate. It was just awful service. The waiter scoffed when he brought out the plates finally (mine was reheated, mind you) and he scoffed and laughed and offered a silly apology (haha we're sorry) for the errors. Awful service. I regretted having to pay and give a tip in advance. They also have favor for certain friends of the establishment as we watched two tables get preferential treatment. Super rude. Ambiance- Tiny place and gets pretty full around midday. So be prepared to sit outside. I hate when restaurants have you pay upfront. I get it. But it's the worst. I will say the older gentleman was kind and tried to apologize well for the errors and issues but still having paid in advance, we didn't receive any funds returned or any complimentary kindness for THEIR error and our grace and patience. I am very much about fighting to keep mom and pop shops so I'm sad to be honest and share this review. But feel it needs to be said. The whole experience was sucky but had the waiter been kind and appropriate it would have been okay. There's no excuse for terrible service. Won't be going back.

What a little jem. Found this restaurant randomly while house hunting in Thousand Oaks. So warm and enviting. The food tasted homemade and so delicious. Curtomer Service was more than ideal. You felt transported somewhere else where staff are simply so friendly and attentive. Already vame back twice withing 3 weeks.

We were warmly greeted when we stopped in for dinner on a Friday night. The format is quick service- order at the counter and the server will deliver the food to your table. The person at the counter (I presume the owner but not sure) was great in explaining the menu. We ordered the Aguadito chicken soup, 1/4 rotisserie chicken with salad and beans, and fried yuca with 3 sauces. The food came out quickly. The fried yuca was very delicious- sooo crispy and nicely seasoned. The sauces were a great accompaniment- 2 of them were spicy. They are similar to French fries but better, in my opinion. This is a big portion that can be shared for sure. The soup was also delicious. It had peas, carrots, potatoes, rice, and shredded chicken. The bowl was a hearty portion, so I shared it with DH. DH enjoyed the rotisserie chicken and sides. The chicken came with a jalapeno cilantro sauce- verdant with a kick. The restaurant has seating inside and outside with casual ambience. Overall a great experience and I look forward to going back and trying other dishes!

Keep coming back after 3 years since its opening. Delicious food and friendly staff. I've even catered for my daughter's birthday party.

We had the Aji de Gallian, it was really good! The portions were really good. We also had the yucca fries that are served with 3 different, delicious sauces. We will definitely be back.

Portions seem small, but tasted very nice. We had the lomo Saltado and milanesa for lunch.

Good food, good people, and great service. I liked the aguadito that was on the house. We ordered salchipapas and pollo asado.

If you are Peruvian and looking for good Peruvian food do not come to this place. The food took over 30min to get to the table, I had to get up to get utensils my pork sandwich" pan con chicharrón" had mold and mayo? My plantains were burnt. If you are going to charge $69 for breakfast at least check on the food that's coming out of your kitchen. Nasty!

I am so glad to have finally made it to this place. Friendly customer service and amazing food. I ordered the surf and turf chaufa off the lunch menu- Shrimp and Beef with quinoa in the style of Peruvian fried rice, bean sprouts, peas, carrots, egg, and green onions. The flavors were spot on, well seasoned, had a wonderful kick to it, just the right amount of heat, and it was served with a green cilantro lime sauce/chutney that I wanted to drink with a spoon. The beef and shrimp were tender and not overcooked. I really enjoyed it. My friends ordered Lomo Saltado - Stir-fried beef with red onions, tomatoes, green onions, cilantro, and french fries served with white rice-- the fries were soaked in the delicious beef gravy. We ordered a side of fried plantains. Oh wow, these were perfectly crispy on the outside and creamy (and not stringy) on the inside. I can't wait to go back with my whole family.

I wish I could rate it ten stars. The food is AAAAMAAAZINGGG. Ruben, the owner is incredibly friendly too. My only complaint is I wish it was on Northern California so I don’t have to drive 6 hours to come back.

I'm part Peruvian and always searching for authentic Peruvian food that doesn't require driving to the Valley. This place hits the spot! The ceviche was so fresh and Lomo Saltafo was delicious. I wish i wasn't so full and could fit some lucuma ice cream. The only thing is i wish was that the Chicha and Maracuya drinks were fresh and not from a bottle but the food made up for it.

The menu is diverse and full of options for everyone. Our server/cashier, Gabriel, was amazing. He navigated us through the specialties and explained them thoroughly. Definitely stop by and try these delicious authentic Peruvian dishes!
