This restaurant is utterly awful. Based on the reviews alone, I would've never chosen to eat here in a million years but I got invited for someone's birthday. There were so many red flags. Mine and my boyfriend's sodas were completely flat, and my boyfriend said he had a hair on his napkin with the place settings. He said he really questions the cleanliness of a place if they don't even notice something like that. I have a lot of anxiety regarding food, as I am terrified of getting sick. Due to this, I stuck with safer options and ordered a house salad, garlic edamame, and miso soup. Everything was just okay. I did try two pieces from the sushi rolls my boyfriend ordered, they were okay but I was very hesitant to eat any more than that so I decided not to. Two members of our party complained that their food was fishy which disgusted me. You couldn't pay me to return there.

First, the good things, 1) easy to find, ample parking , 2) good enough service, attentive and polite. That's about it.... Unfortunately the food left a lot to be desired. 1) sushi was soggy. I never imagined sushi was hard to make or anything and felt like most sushi's had the same texture. This one opened my eyes as to, what soggy sushi tasted like; 2) OMG the tempura! The worst part of the meal!! I thought I was at Carls Jrs! The batter was so hard and awful. I never had worse tempura! It was amazingly bad! And it had so many pieces of yams in it, no carrot, no eggplant. Think the chef got lazy and decided to load me up with whatever he had most of; 3) the wasabi was .... So mild. Tasteless. 4) the Miso soup was really salty, but maybe it was nearing the end of the day so I was getting the bottom of the pot?? 5) seaweed salad tasted ok. Only seemed a decent portion first until I realized it rested on a bed of lecture. Don't think I will go back to this place. Maybe you can go find out for yourself!!

Ordered an online delivery from this restaurant, and that was one of the best sashimi salad I’ve ever had! The fish are very fresh and tasty. Definitely worth it!

All 3 of my rolls were gross and tasted overly fishy. Most of my order was thrown out. They gave me free edamame which was appreciated initially, but after eating my rolls, it made me wonder if they knew something was wrong.

Lve in all its forms, especially sushi, is worth it. (A review, my personal opinion, apparently needs more character, because a machine is telling me how to format my poetic free thought.)

The food here is absolutely DISGUSTING!!! DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!!! I ordered the spicy tuna crispy rice. The tuna was nasty. Tasted like bad fish and mashed vinegar. The avocados on top, were so brown that I could hardly even tell they were avocados. If you plan on enjoying a night out for sushi- DO NOT eat here. Would give ZERO stars if I could.

This place is over priced for what you get. 10 dollars for a small portion of edamame in garlic sauce?!? It's very small and the sushi they have here reminds me of sushi from a vending machine.

Love sushi provides really stellar service and a relaxing atmosphere but truly the sushi didn't fully live up to our expectations. Starting with the positives as I noted in the beginning the service was great and the staff are Uber friendly. It's really hard to leave anything under four stars when the owners and workers are just so nice. Everyone was attentive and in good spirits when my friends and I dined in here on a weeknight. The sushi chef even provided us complimentary salmon collar which was unexpected and nice. The vibes are 100% great here and it gives a cozy relaxed vibe inside. I want to support this business as they care about the customers and make you feel welcome. However the sushi was "mid" and with all of the great sushi spots in the 805 it's hard to imagine this one being on the roster for repeat. The menu was extensive and great, plenty of options. But despite us all ordering different things, we had the same conclusion that everything was just okay. The sushi portions were generous but just didn't taste as fresh and buttery as other spots nearby. We tried salmon nigiri, scallop roll, spicy tuna roll, and a few speciality rolls. There was nothing we'd rave home about or rank as 4-5 stars. My friend also tried a cooked dish, sesame chicken and she noted that she'd had better but it wasn't bad. I just think when dropping $80 at a table for dinner you want everyone to leave feeling pretty satisfied with their meal and we were full but not really impressed. If you have been eyeing this spot I can confirm everyone is really nice and hospitable, maybe you'll have a better idea of what to order then we did but we felt we ordered some of the classics and just didn't leave wanting more...

I took my family here for lunch. Best value for your money are their rolls. We ordered a salmon roll and yellow tail roll. The rolls were great. Lots of fresh fish per rolls. We also ordered a bowl of tempura udon and spicy pork bulgogi. Udon was good. The kids really enjoyed it. The spicy pork bulgogi was terrible. Half of it was burnt because the pork bits were cut so small. We barely ate it. The ambiance could be a tad bit better. It’s super dark and depressing inside. Even more disappointing is the service. They had only one server. And she was constantly chatting it up with her Korean chef or on her phone. She was quite rude when we asked for a set of plates and forks for the kids. Overall I would recommend takeout from this place but avoid coming for a dine I n experience. They need to improve their service and perhaps repaint the interior.

Warning: DONT WASTE MONEY ORDERING THE RAMEN! I would not recommend this place on the fact that the ramen and seafood ramen are horrible. It was on me to order ramen at a sushi place, but still the fact they're charging 17$ for instant ramen with the addition of some pieces of seafood is so scammy. The egg included with the ramen is boiled and was messy. The tempura included with the ramen just ended up being soggy in the soup as soon as it arrived. The extra star is for the fact that the Gangnam roll was actually decent, but still the fact that they're just selling up-charged instant ramen makes it seem like they're not even trying. The combination plate katsu was also overcooked. Service was great except for the fact that waiters stare at you when you try and tip pressuring you in a way when the polite thing to do is look away. If you're expecting good Japanese food especially for the price, this is not it.

I ordered the bento box. I would say extremely reasonable price for all the food I received. The spicy imitation crab sushi was really good. I also really liked the assorted tempura. The chicken teriyaki was a little dry but still yummy. I love that they put all the sauces on the side (I ordered for takeout) overall experience 4/5 stars.
