They have really good hard shell tacos with your choices of meat. My goto are the carnitas, or chicken which is lightly marinated in salas. It's the same chicken they use for there quesadillas too which are delicious! There street tacos de Asada & burritos are good too, and there bean & cheese burritos never disappoint! Of course all this good food couldn't be done without their outstanding service! If you eat here you'll enjoy the Spanish music they play on the TV, or at times they'll have a soccer game on.

The Hard Shell Tacos are excellent! I've placed orders here multiple times, and they've always gotten the orders 100% correct. That's saying something!

This place has been around for decades! Been going there since my high school days! My go to is the cheese enchilada plate, the sauce is a bit spicy and soo flavorful, I literally don't eat enchiladas from anywhere else. The mojarra is also pretty good! Rice and beans are solid, and the chips are the best in town. Salsa bar also has a good selection. Horchata, jarritos, and beer + soda fountain drinks available. Ambience is good, music is always playing, sometimes they'll have a soccer game on as well. Service is good. You order at the counter, pick your seat, and food is brought to you. Overall a laid back great spot for good Mexican eats

They have the best chile relleno burrito I have ever tried in California. The chili, tortilla and cheese was great with balanced proportions. They had very good service, the cashier was very friendly and I received my food fairly quickly. They have multiple beautiful drawings, with a green background that really makes the place stand out.

I've came here before with friends and the food and ambiance was homey and welcoming. Very nice owners followed by good food. Everything you could want in a Mexican grill restaurant. The food came quick and with nice spicy sauces that tickled my tongue . Would go again. Loved it. Definitely my new favorite stop in Thousand Oaks.

Manny's Mexican Grill has very good food, and the portions are great value. Their counter service is quick and helpful whenever I've called-in for a takeout order. The ambiance is fine for the size of location with limited space for table seating, which is why I order takeout. It is much better than the condescending takeout store across the freeway (Guad. Merc.)...so go to Manny's Mexican Grill instead. My friends and I always enjoy the food and prices, especially the service!

I write my reviews with the context of the type of restaurant. For Manny's that's order-at-the counter, find a seat place. I was in the mood for a nice gooey enchilada. My H is always in the mood for a burrito. This time, "wet". So we ordered, my two filled with chicken, his with carnitas. Mine was a combination with rice and beans. His had everything wrapped in. Our total came to about $30. Seems that's about standard for not-fast-food lunch. The cashier brought is some house-made chips. They have a self-serve condiment bar. I'd already gotten some red salsa. I enjoyed it. It was thick enough to stay on the chips, a little bit sweet with just the right amount of heat. They also had green salsa, Onion-cilantro stuff, and some pickled peppers. So we crunched on chips while we waited for our food. My enchiladas were cooked perfectly. Although the chicken looked cubed, it was very tender and flavorful. I could have shredded it with a fork. I loved the sauce over them. It was savory and slightly spicy with just the right consistency. The beans and rice were ok. I'd have liked a bit more smoky flavor in the beans and a little more moisture in the rice. But they were fine. I didn't taste my H's burrito, but it sure looked good and he liked it. It was about 3" in diameter. The place wasn't crowded and there were plenty of tables both inside and outside. The TV was on the whole time and three of the syrups were out in the soft drink machine, hence a deduction of a star. Manny's is close to my home. I don't know why I haven't gone there more. Maybe it's because they've improved the floors, tables, and chairs over the years. Really delicious Mexican food. I had the hard shell chicken tacos and a chicken quesadilla to go and both were very tasty. I will definitely be back. Pricing were very reasonable. Friendly service too.

We saw the reviews on Yelp, so we decided to stop and check it out. We ordered the VERY reasonably-priced Original Burrito with carne asada and were not disappointed! It's nearly big enough for two unless you are a extra-large-order type person. The meat is some of the best and freshest carne asada I have ever tasted. Good mix of beans, cheese and rice inside also. More beef than most places would serve, so the price is a bonus. Good homemade salsa too! I'll definitely be back!

THE BURRITOS ARE !!! I had the chicken burrito with red salsa and it was so good. I ate everything off my plate and I am super picky with burritos but it was delicious. The server was a sweetheart and very attentive. It was quiet for dinner time but a lot of people were doing take out. My fiancé got the street tacos and loved them. Will be coming back regularly!
