This has been my go to spot for the past 4 years. The food and service is absolutely incredible, however… I would love to see them switch from plastic utensils to metal. Not only does eating a high quality meal with plastic feel strange, it’s unhealthy. Other than that keep the amazing food coming 🙏

Hoping for something light and delicious, I ordered the big tuna salad. The salad is a can of tuna on the biggest plate of bitterly-dressed lettuce. This salad was horrible, but I was starving so I choked down about half of it. The cucumber mint lemonade was delicious but definitely not worth $5.

Hopefully I will come back to try other menu items as the others in my group seemed to really enjoy their meals.

Delicious flavor in every bite! I got the chicken Saltado bowl and my husband got the chicken saltado plate. We both added fried egg on top. The house aioli that was drizzled over my dish was amazing.

Mouthful Eatery is one of my go-to lunch spots in Thousand Oaks. It’s a Peruvian-inspired sandwich and bowl place that’s refreshingly different from anything else around. The tuna sandwich wrap with green beans and artichoke hearts is my favorite—such a unique and flavorful combo you won’t find anywhere else. And the zucchini sticks are outstanding… absolutely a must-try. Consistently great food and a spot I’m always happy to recommend.

The dishes they have are always prepared well and with great presentation. I got the Carnitas bowl with quinoa and it was seasoned and cooked to perfection! A perfect restaurant for a date night or night out with friends.

This obscure little restaurant is definitely one to visit. If I was just driving by, I wouldn't have stopped. But, their great reviews led us here en route to LA. The food was outstanding, very tasty and reasonably priced. Their staff was pleasant and attentive, and kept things clean. We were very glad we stopped, adding this as a new favorite!

I’ve eaten here half a dozen times and it’s stellar every time. Lomo saltado is the star but the sandwiches and bowls are terrific as well. One time they had chicha morada and I was in heaven.

Not a typical place I would try but I am so happy that I did! We went as a group and everyone loved their food. We planned our next lunch here as we were eating- that is how amazing it was. I love the art from the children and the community promoting atmosphere. There is love in the food and service!

This place is simply the best. Such amazing food and attention to detail. They put cucumber in the water dispenser and jalapeño/cilantro in the ranch, such a nice touch. I generally get a sandwhich and the bread alone is worth it. You can’t beat the price for that kind of quality!

My family orders dinner from here once a week. It's such a great little place! We love the fish quinoa bowl, pork sandwich and pan seared salmon. And the cookies!!! And during Covid, they helped keep us and the rest of the community fed. They had boxes of supplies that you couldn't get anywhere else. I'm so happy that they are in our neighborhood. Keep up the great work!
