This obscure little restaurant is definitely one to visit. If I was just driving by, I wouldn't have stopped. But, their great reviews led us here en route to LA. The food was outstanding, very tasty and reasonably priced. Their staff was pleasant and attentive, and kept things clean. We were very glad we stopped, adding this as a new favorite!

I’ve eaten here half a dozen times and it’s stellar every time. Lomo saltado is the star but the sandwiches and bowls are terrific as well. One time they had chicha morada and I was in heaven.

Not a typical place I would try but I am so happy that I did! We went as a group and everyone loved their food. We planned our next lunch here as we were eating- that is how amazing it was. I love the art from the children and the community promoting atmosphere. There is love in the food and service!

This place is simply the best. Such amazing food and attention to detail. They put cucumber in the water dispenser and jalapeño/cilantro in the ranch, such a nice touch. I generally get a sandwhich and the bread alone is worth it. You can’t beat the price for that kind of quality!

My family orders dinner from here once a week. It's such a great little place! We love the fish quinoa bowl, pork sandwich and pan seared salmon. And the cookies!!! And during Covid, they helped keep us and the rest of the community fed. They had boxes of supplies that you couldn't get anywhere else. I'm so happy that they are in our neighborhood. Keep up the great work!

This my third visit to Mouthfull and every time I have tried something different. It's always excellent! Fresh ingredients and wonderful seasoning. Highly recommend for lunch or dinner.

The food was pretty good and I liked the available options! I particularly liked the yucca fries. The only reason I'm not giving this 5 stars is because of how the trivia experience was handled the night I visited. I happened to visit on a busy night they were doing trivia inside and had to grab a table outside. However, a loudspeaker posted above the door was blasting trivia to everyone outdoors that couldn't participate, drowning out their conversations for no reason. It was also too loud inside for how small the space was. There was no reason to have the outdoor speaker on or the inside speakers be as loud as they were. A bummer considering the food was good and I'd go back on a regular night.

Absolutely delicious. Me and my boys all were very impressed. My husband had the ribeye and it was cooked perfectly. I had the chicken bowl with quinoa. Soo good. My oldest had the chicken platter (not sure what it was called but it had a red sauce and he was very very happy. Our youngest had the chicken strips and he really liked trying to sauces. He felt part of the experience. Staff was so friendly and kind. The whole place was clean and a great place to stop by while passing through. Oh and don’t leave without the tasty cookies!!

This place is a hidden gem!!! I don’t know if it was the food or the hostess but I can’t wait to come back. Oh yeah and the food🤤 there’s nothing like it anywhere. If you’re new to California, you need to make this your usual spot so you can try everything on the menu at least once! I’ll be seeing you again shortly😊

Our Thousand Oaks family took us to this small restaurant for lunch. The menu, which is on the wall over the kitchen, is very varied. My wife and I had an Alaskan cod bowl that was outstanding. Order at the counter, take a number, and your food will be brought to you at your table. Service was great. Atmosphere was great. Food was great. What more can you ask.
