I have to say Phil’s makes the best roast chicken I have ever had in my life! SO GOOD! The portion sizes are big and great to share the appetisers, my husband and I had the Brussels sprouts and meatballs - both delicious!
The only thing better than the food here is the service, we were made to feel so welcomed and nothing was too much trouble.
Would highly recommend anyone to stop by and try this place out, you won’t be disappointed.

My husband and I were traveling from our home in the south bay to a dance recital for our youngest grandchild and we wanted to eat a meal up there once we completed the two-hour journey on a Friday afternoon. My husband looked up restaurants near the dance recital, and Phil's came up as a good choice. We arrived and were seated and told Phil (yes, the owner is there) that we sort of needed a speed meal. They were on it. I had the best tuna tartare I have ever had and a flatbread pizza and my husband had the stroganoff. It was an incredible meal. The service was wonderful and it has the neighborhood vibe atmosphere. We both highly recommend Phil's. Make a reservation because this place is jumping.

The chicken of the schnitzel salad was burnt and rubbery, it tasted fine but the plating of the chicken that needs to be deboned on top of all the sides is annoying, and the lemoncello dessert was burnt (not caramelized) and watery.

Phil’s is a great spot! This is our third time and the food is absolutely delicious, this is a must try if you want a great meal, great service and nice ambiance as well 👍

I will never go there again! Waitress was friendly until I had a problem with my food.
The filet mignon I ordered was undercooked very raw- I asked to cook it more in which they did but while they were re-doing my steak they kept my plate under the heater the whole time so when returning my plate to me it was extremely hot and over heated food. The au gratin potatoes had zero flavor and veggies looked right out of a frozen bag.
Steak has zero flavor and was very chewy/dry. At this point I had to wait a long time for the food to be cooled down before eating and everyone at my table was finished so I asked to get a to go box b/c food did not look good but I knew they would throw a fit if I told them to take it back. What do they do? They put it in the cheapest plastic container.
Wow! Then ofcourse they still charged me for this (60) dollar entree knowing I didn’t even eat it. I did ask for a manager who was no where to be found- I have been calling now for days to get a manager but every time I call they lie and say he’s in a meeting.
Obviously this place does not care if you like the food or not or if you had a good experience nor do they care to rectify anything. Do not operate a business if you do not care about the quality or the experience people have when there! Owner/manager won’t even talk to me regarding my experience even though I’ve left 2 messages now. Clearly you do not care about the community in which you placed your restaurant!

The food is to die for. The meatballs are so delicious. I had the Chicken Parmesan for my main entree. It could feed 4 people. Amazing!!
And there is a full bar with so much going on. Last night was karaoke night

We had Stroganoff and Muscles. Very delicious and tasty drinks. Husband had a Negroni and I had Chardonnay. All tasty and excellent service. Great music playing also. We will be back.

A+++++ We came in not too long before closing time hoping to grab a meal after our 1st grader’s late recital. Phil’s had closed the kitchen by then but the owner Phil welcomed us with open arms, fired the kitchen back up, the staff enthusiastically and patiently took our order, and they served some AMAZING food! They easily could have explained they were closing soon but instead they decided to go above and beyond to provide our family a memorable experience. Lucky to have such a thoughtful, customer-first business in our community.

My Dad and I finally tried Phil’s for the first time tonight. We thoroughly enjoyed it. We sat in the bar/lounge in the back of the restaurant which was extremely cozy and had many TV’s with multiple games on. I ordered their manhattan cocktail and it was exquisite.
The portion sizes are gigantic so we split the wedge salad and it was fantastic. I ordered the prime rib dip and it was delicious. The combo of the au jus and horseradish was delicious and the beef was thinly sliced and perfectly cooked. My Dad enjoyed the stroganoff, but thought it could have used egg noodles and the sauce perhaps a bit thicker. It was still very tasty and I highly recommend Phil’s overall.
My only complaint is there are very few vegetarian or seafood dishes, since I have pescatarian family members.

First and last time coming here. We came at 8:30pm on St. Patricks day only for the waitress to tell us the kitchen is closing in 15 minutes. They are supposed to close at 10pm. There was people already sitting down eating. The staff doesnt care and just wants to leave early.
